I have adhd and take adderall treatment for it was diagnosed at 25 is this still bad for the airforce still?
ОтветитьI don’t have a degree, nor pilot experience and I’m 31 1/2. Realistically what are my chances to landing a fighter, or general pilot slot. Also, have a record of dui over 8 years ago. Ged etc. I’m willing to do anything including a accelerated degree online. Try to log sum air flight hours. But what are my chances?
ОтветитьIm 16 and from eu can i still become usaf pilot?
ОтветитьI have a question
What should be the state of dental health for a fighter pilot ?
I will be happy if you answer me 🙌🏽
I was working at BTV when our first two f-35's came in. Such talented pilots in the 158th.
ОтветитьThis helps so much the only downside is that my vision goes left to right eye -4.75 and -4.00 and man I hope this isn’t a deal breaker. With contacts I got perfect vision and even with my bad eyesight I managed really well and got 20/20 vision without contacts in which surprised my eye doctor. But if that isn’t a deal breaker, I’m stuck between deciding the Acadamy in Colorado or ROTC at a college in my state.
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьThis was a amazing video, gave me plenty of information 😊
ОтветитьSo with the degree do you have to get it before you join the airforce? Also what if you still take meds for ADHD?
ОтветитьCan I become a pilot if had heart surgery when I was a baby?
ОтветитьFvckin coolest job on the earth no arguement 😂
ОтветитьEven if I got my citizenship expedited after BMT, I've red and heard that the security clearance board wouldn't allow me to go through UPT (after OTS) if my parents are still residing in my country of origin. Probably because of the fear that I might sip some top secret information outside of US. I don't understand why this becomes a red falg when a naturalised citizen already took an oat to protect the constution of the United States would be caught up in this situation. Would you kindly clarify or maybe create another video later to elaborate further on that? That would be helpful. Over all, thank you for the very informative video Hasard. 👍
ОтветитьWhile I am Profoundly Deaf-Blind, I can assure you that I will NOT LEAVE ANY AIRCRAFT UP THERE!😉😁😂🤣👍👍
ОтветитьHey hasard what was your gpa when you became a fighter pilot
Ответитьlol they tell you no adhd yet like 90 percent of fighter pilots are insane fuckers jacked up on cocaine/meth.
ОтветитьEven as a Canadian this video has relived me of some stress as I do have glasses.
ОтветитьWhen he said, "you do not need to have perfect vision to be a fighter pilot" I was SO RELIVED. When I went to the eye doctor and heard I did not have 20/20 vision like I thought I did, NO JOKE I BROKE DOWN IN TEARS thinking my dreams were over. I decided to do more research online and kept on getting mixed answers. Thank you for clearing this up and for redeeming my hope 🙏🙏
ОтветитьIs 69 too old? I only look 25...?!
ОтветитьThe base that im joining for the Air NG flys F-15s. I hope to be able to fly those one day once i graduate college. I'll be doing civilian pilot training in the meantime, and my goal is to get a job in the guard that has me working on the aircraft, so hopefully those two things will help out my case when the time comes to apply
ОтветитьBut if your a women or gender confused will be automatically put to the top regardless and all waivers granted as per DEI regulations.
ОтветитьTwo things killed my application in the water:
1) Physical fitness and strength/endurance.
I was fit and capable, healthy, but not strong. I was at 18 BMI, not nearly at my best required for the role.
2) Disability
Optic Neuritis took out my right eye, making me completely unsuitable for all roles.
Best advice I can give is eat healthy and train four days a week. At the end of the day, when you don't make flight slot (like >95% of us applying), you'll at least be in great health for the rest of your life.
In short, as anyone will tell you, you're up against 1000's of applicants. If you are not the BEST applicant they have, you ain't in.
You weren't the school captain or involved in many group sports and youth leadership groups? Next please.
You don't train your body to be in the best shape you can be? Next please.
You don't pay attention in school, have bad reports or poor grades? Next please.
If I could do it back again, I would absolutely not hesitate on training the physical strength and health up. It's vital, it's crucial, it is not overlooked for "skill".
Don't make my mistakes - TRAIN with a sense of purpose.
Hey little late but was wondering if it can be any engineering major when it comes to becoming a test pilot and filling that engineering requirement?
ОтветитьWhat if I have a citizenships for multiple country’s
ОтветитьIt’s a bummer because when I was in high school I wanted to fly f-16. But back then you couldn’t wear glasses or contacts, you had to have basically perfect vision. This is the only reason I didn’t go into the Air Force
ОтветитьI have asthma and I’d love to be a fighter pilot. It doesn’t effect my daily life and I don’t have many symptoms. Will I still be able to join and fly? Also, what does the ‘don’t cut the canopy’ writing on the side of fighter jets mean? Thank you 😊
ОтветитьScrew the USCIS, they never process green card in time😡 I wanna be like you man! Hope I can fly as early as possible
ОтветитьI’m 29 and I dreamt of being a fighter pilot since I was a kid. I just feel I missed the prime 😢
ОтветитьBsc mathematics can apply
Ответитьare these the same for in belgium?
ОтветитьI watched the first F 35s to land at The Air Guards in BTV. Nice stuff.
ОтветитьDo I have to finish pilot training in the USA to be able to join USAF?
ОтветитьI’m 34, going on 35 end of may.. I’m going to give it a go and try my luck at a waiver
ОтветитьWhat if you have slight ocd and take medication for it, but more than likely you will be off of it after graduating high school. it would mean a lot if I had this question answered. it makes me question my chances at doing this?
ОтветитьThank you for clarifying the vision requirements, I use glasses and I was worried that it would prevent me from being able to fly in the air force but this information is assuring.
ОтветитьIf only I was born in US. I really wanted to be an F-22 pilot. I'm willing to give it my all if I had a chance.
ОтветитьWhat about hearing?
ОтветитьAt 25 years old, I'm just now enlisting in the Navy. It was my dream since childhood to become a fighter pilot, but of course life has taken me on different paths. While serving, I plan to complete a STEM degree and work towards achieving my goal of becoming a fighter pilot. Don't ever give up on your dreams!
ОтветитьWaw Hasard, very clear on the requirements. Always dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot, but unfortunately are unable due to the citizenship. So now I live part of my dream as a bush and airline pilot. You’re doing an awesome job in “recruiting” youngsters. Keep it up & good luck with the remainder of your career!
ОтветитьI’m confused as the vision requirement limits stated here say -3 vision. That’s were I’m at in vision that’s also 20/200, but every other resource I found says 20/70 is the limit so I want to know where this info came from before I get my hopes up
ОтветитьIs it mandatory to have a science degree to become a fighter pilot ?
ОтветитьRAF are very discriminatory against people on the Autism Spectrum citing the condition as "a psychiatric disorder" a very outdated and inaccurate description of Autism Spectrum condition. If you are on this spectrum cut your losses and don't apply to the RAF for ANY jobs.
ОтветитьDo they accept vission problems within the norm?😅🤣
Ответитьcan air force academy accept foreign from AFRICA
ОтветитьIs it still possible to become a pilot while your enlisted ?
Ответитьi live in CA. Can i get a waiver for marajuanna?
ОтветитьI recently passed the CFAST for the RCAF. Hoping I get selected, but it is a quite a long journey before I get to fly. Still need to get that degree
ОтветитьIf I have a degree from a small school. Can I still qualify? Like from SNHU for example.
ОтветитьSo do I need to get my 4yr degree AND go to AFA/ROTC or does that count as my 4yr
ОтветитьNice and powerful machine, but they designed to kill people!
Message to the young men and women who have desire to be pilot of a machine like this!
I can't stop you to go try this, but keep in mind you don't need to kill people when war brakes on!!
Everything is world government manipulation!!
You my think and been told that some people of some other country attacking your country well be 100% sure that will be not true!!!
No one from normal people will attack your country NO ONE!!!!
