We connected a old tv antena to my friends pc with a tv booster well we kinda see wifi around a block but only connect to wifi within the home

Putting antennas near a grounded metal case desensitizes them anyways so really it doesnt matter the gain or the size of it. Its better if its further away from any metal objects and in line to the source without objects blocking it as possible.

Dont forget that it is a directional antenna. So the leading edge have to be facing the router direction to better performance and range o 5Ghz networks. I also rate this shit. Looking foward to buy one without this fucking wire

You know we have it good when we can complain about the antenna size. If you don't want to see it then do what you did by folding it and put it on the back. It sticks out about as much as the cables sticking out the back. I have 4 of these and actually like the design. Hard to say how much better they are vs the small pencil antennas but they work great and can be mounted on the back like he showed.

How do I extend the wire for this WiFI 6e antenna? I need to extend the wire as long as possible to put it near buildings and hotspot areas.
