How much did dirty blonde make from the virtual concert minus borrowed expenses. That production cost dollar bills, his $300, in play revenue hardly covered the cost of his costume let alone the lights, the equipment, the paid musicians on stage with him, the producers and all the stage hands engineering that you can't see. No disrespect dirty blonde I hope you get full return on your investment and more. But I'd really like to know how much you profited from that virtual show.
Virtual concerts will make big name brand artists money, but how many fortnite kids are gonna leave battle match to watch an unknown artist. Again no disrespect I know you do it for the love of music, but it would nice to know for knowledge sake. How much did you profit.
How many kids chase a valuable dream that returns no value except an illusion of wealth to your peers.
Honesty depresses me that it's a facade.
Dirty Blonde, I hope you become a brand, may you be magnetic to the money at the top. Peace.
The music industry revenue was not at an all time high as you claim. Taking inflation into account the music industry revenue had dropped by about 50% since its all time highs.
ОтветитьStep one: sell your soul
ОтветитьTlc didn't know how to read a contract.
ОтветитьAll these people getting railroaded, this is crazy I would sang and rap in my shower🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴this is wild man I fell sorry fa these artist.Cause it's not designed fa them to win at all.All I think of is TLC THEY WAS BROKE

ОтветитьVery interesting documentary unfortunately in my opinion I think that guy sucks
ОтветитьInteresting.
ОтветитьIn this whole Video I only hear depressing autotune sound. Call me conservative, but for me this is a sign of lacking talent
ОтветитьSo informative and inspiring. Thank you so much for being of great service to Artists!❤❤❤
Ответитьmaybe they should be actual artists - don't rehash the same beats, don't use autotune, don't lip synch. innovate
ОтветитьIt's a dirty business and the end of it all is sadness and DESPAIR
I'm happy flipping burgers
f*ck labels
ОтветитьTheses artist are gettin rob from streaming services.
ОтветитьAnnoying noise of crap music drowns out commentary. Pathetic effort.
ОтветитьMy guy Dirty Blonde's biggest moment of fame was this video lol, 184 monthly listeners ouuuuuffff
Ответитьthe video is awesome thx a lot but god your boy is trash
ОтветитьGreat video. Although Dirty Blonde has A LOT of work to do. He needs a songwriter and vocal coach (among other things). Or maybe music isn't his thing. Everyone wants to make music but everyone can't. There are other areas where you can be useful in the industry
ОтветитьThis was inspiring to watch
ОтветитьOmg! Listening to Dirty Blonde in the studio was hilarious. What a bunch of garbage. Who thinks that is music? More like Scam “artist”.
ОтветитьIdiots
ОтветитьThat swimming pool line was horrible 😂
ОтветитьThis is hilarious.
The only people who get paid in this business are those who were interviewed here. They’re like those pseudo-millionaires who pretend to sell you a method to get rich. Selling the method is how they got rich, not the method.
The truth is the money is small and finite. The more people get into the game the smaller the shares of the pie get. Only they benefit from more participants, more folks willing to pay them in hope to be noticed by the public.
They make it sound like they’re doing artists a favor but they are only looking for a new sucker to bleed dry. The studio gets paid, the manager gets paid, the producer gets paid, the lawyers and accountants get paid, the PR people get paid … and guess who pays for it all?
WHO DIRTY SHITTY BLONDE
Ответитьwow, pop music sucks as it did 30 years ago :)
Ответитьbobble head
ОтветитьGOOD FOR THEM! RECLAIMING TRUE POWER OR WHATEVA! LOVES IT. THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS BECOMING MORE INCLUSIVE AND REALLY LISTENING TO THE FANS. KEEP IT UP. DONT SLEEP ON YOUR ARTISTS.
Ответитьlol im sorry but i dont feel his vibe... seems fake
Ответитьaye any starting artist managers wanna start a discord and all improve off our selfs?
ОтветитьBoy was it tough listening to his music… I had to skip through the video
ОтветитьIs this "The Truth is?"
ОтветитьSuccess comes and go Art stays forever
ОтветитьNice grill...lol
Ответитьis this artist blind ?
ОтветитьThis was an interesting video about the music industry
ОтветитьI been a label for two years
ОтветитьThe thing is I would say you have to create your business model -think like a marketer. You can make money is music it’s just ppl are still stuck in an old school mindset
ОтветитьThanks for this video!
ОтветитьDon't record labels make the majority of their money from owning an artist's Masters? They get royalties from the artist's publishing rights. E.g Every time an artist's music is used in a commercial, movie, advertising, radio etc.
ОтветитьWhat's the song at the beginning of the video???
ОтветитьThis is amazing content and very informational. Nice to see BMI as part of the content, I worked at the company's Latin dept for over 25 years based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I now own a music business and entertainment company discovering new talent and educating our creative communities; artists, songwriters, and composers on their careers, futures in the business, etc. Great video FT.
ОтветитьThis guys swallowing you eventually eating you alive. Especially that fat chick. Man. Crazy
ОтветитьEasy : Corrupted , Unethical, Ignorant Companies, Ignorant so called Artists, fooled to believe that they themselves are creative , to an stupid young public who allows hoodluns to be the next big thing.
ОтветитьTrademark, Publishing,Ownership, Management!
