Sherlock would actually have terrible expertise. He is extremely good at solving mysteries and such, but this is at the expense of his other knowledge. There is one moment where he didn’t know that earth rotated around the sun, because it was outside his area of expertise

I've known people who were brilliant academically, but their children had mediocre abilities and vice versa, so I've always thought that intelligence being chiefly inherited is overstated. Mozart, one of the greatest European musicians, had two sons who survived him; one was musical, but never achieved the greatness of his father, and the other had little musical ability at all.

Commenting on an 8 year old video... But it is a good video! My kids are bilingual - their Dad is US American, I am German. They are not truly biligual - English is the stronger language as we lived in many countries as aid workers. Their IQ tests in German are always good, not overwhelming. Their IQs in English are at least 10 points higher.

This concept can be extended even further. Humans are very Anthrocentric on defining intelligence in a Hierarchy. However stories abound of Octopus who are way to clever for their own good and slime mold, which lack a brain, are capable of a shocking degree of control complex behavior.

Reflecting what interest was for me really bending my intelligence for something new...this came now that intelligence can speak in a matter of picking up art in factors that they see upfront. I was bent as always to get a to B but not b to a to b.

Please do a crash course episode on sex work, the Myths, the Truths, the job itself and the negative stigmas that hurt our right to work in the industry, meaning full service (prostitution), domination, pornography, phone sex, online caming.. etc. and how it’s helpful in a jobless society for people who seek to become survival sex workers.

Defining intelligence is dumb. I mean even if we could, what use would it be? it's much more useful to figure out how to increase it. If schools instead of using grades tried to allow each child to reach his/her potential then it doesn't matter if I'm less intelligent than my peers because at least I'm better off than I was yesterday. This becomes even better when we personalize education, because if I want to become a architect, then musical intelligence isn't all that useful, but spacial intelligence sure is, so I can work extra hard on creativity and spacial skills, not grading myself, but working to improve each day.

Ответить
@Intrafacial86
@Intrafacial86 - 21.05.2020 12:28

The problem with “emotional intelligence” is that it, by its own definitions, is measured relative to a particular culture of values and norms. In fact, it sounds a lot like what the Nazis were doing with their pseudo-IQ tests. Emotional intelligence is just a politically correct term for level of social indoctrination.
