Thanks for watching. Don’t forget to subscribe. The autopsy can wait.
ОтветитьThat's just ridiculous...everyone knows the best stain is Masson's trichrome!
ОтветитьThat is hilarious!
ОтветитьClearly I missed my calling. A job where I spend almost all my time alone? Sounds like heaven.
ОтветитьThis actually makes me want to be a pathologist
ОтветитьPathology is so cool, I am not even in med school, I just think it is so interesting!
ОтветитьI'm waiting for a skit on medical examiners xd
ОтветитьTbf Congo red looks pretty sick.
ОтветитьThis tracks.... except there was far too much direct eye contact. I do like it when anyone asks to look at slides.
ОтветитьWhy congo red mean badboy?
Ответитьi mean, forming relationship with the microscope is probably healthier than forming one with the cadavers.
ОтветитьAhh yes. My mother is a histo pathologist. And whenever I've seen her interact with office strangers (like people visiting the office) she was exactly like this
ОтветитьTabatha is A GREAT NAME for a microscope! LOL!!!
ОтветитьI googled "bone marrow under microscope" and yes, it does look fascinating.
ОтветитьI feel like i should consider a career in pathology
ОтветитьI wish someone asked me what my favorite stain was on interviews. I’m going to add that in when I host interviews in the future.
ОтветитьSo spot on. glaucomflecken rocked the wards on all his rotations because he clearly knows every field so well!
I’m a pathologist and I approve this message.
I actually forgot that medical pathology overlaps with forensic pathology...
ОтветитьMy dad was a pathologist and EXACTLY LIKE THIS! When you asked what his favorite stain was !!!!
ОтветитьI’m not a pathologist… but I DO love my microscope.
ОтветитьCongo red! Yes!
Ответить❤you are so funny
ОтветитьDexter's Laboratory, or just Dexter...?
ОтветитьI went out with a pathologist, just one time
ОтветитьCongo red = Amyloidosis is the only thing I've picked up after 8 seasons of house
ОтветитьTaaaaabithaaaaaa
ОтветитьA pathologist complemented the way I handled the microscope, I'll take that as a great honor hahahahah
ОтветитьAm a pathologist, can confirm all of this. My microscope all through my residency was named Perceptor (she had the autobots logo on her side). Everything I read is digital now though - have yet to form the same bond with my computer monitor... And if you've never seen an amyloid-producing tumor in congo red under polarized light, you are missing out!
Ответить“It’s an autopsy, the patient can wait”
As someone who works with inheritances this made me chuckle quite a bit
No complaining patients and you can't kill anyone accidently cutting something unintended and no emergencies=you can go to the toilet when you need. Why would anybody want to do anything else? (Apart from seeing the victims of horrible torture that make you lose your sanity and either develop suicidal or homicidal emotions)
ОтветитьI remembered pathologist I had to work with, she was nice generally, but sometimes she will scream at everyone😅
Ответить“What are your weaknesses?”
“Finding somebody who cares.”
Damn… that hit close to home :(
Congo Red?! Definitely a bad boy stain.
You got to go with a pap stain or HAc with Alcian blue and kernechtrot also called the Alcian blue 2,5.
"Once they realized I wasn't a danger to anyone" had me dying 😂
ОтветитьHey now, Congo red? Not even any of the IHC stains?
ОтветитьCongo red!!!!! Shout out to all the medical and transplant renal pathologists in the house. …. Oh what. Only me - oh well I thought I had some company.
Ответить🙅🏻♂️hey …Hey …HEY!!🙇🏻♂️
Do NOT go bringing Tabitha into all this, it’s Not HER Fault!!🤨😤😠
So funny this is my first week as a PA
ОтветитьHoly shit, finding basophils?! I struggle with that almost daily lmao
And my favourite stain is the May-Grünwald-Giemsa 😌
I have absolutely no interest in pathology but if pathologists are like this, I kind of wanna become one anyway.
ОтветитьI love the pathologists so much. I just wanna hang out with them looking at biopsy slides all day.
ОтветитьLove Pathology……Robbin’s great book
Ответить"It's an autopsy, the patient can wait!"
Had me rolling lmao 😂
I'm currently in my senior year in high school and am looking into pathology I'm really wanting to go into that field.
ОтветитьI'm a pathologist and I love this! ❤
Ответитьi literally only realized it wasn’t a real microscope after thr latest one
Ответить"...finding somebody who cares." I felt this! Nobody is as interested in my necropsies (veterinary autopsy) as I. Why?! Fascinating! And the voice in my head says, "You need therapy!"😂😹
ОтветитьA pathologist in rural setting would be super fun. Imagine doing everything accordihg the new WHO Classification without all except basic H&E, and all reagents are home brew.
ОтветитьBruh. You could be borderline blind and identify a basophil. That shouldn't be a bragging point. It's like saying you can easily interpret a cbc. "Omg their hgb is 4! They must need a transfusion!"
Ответить"It's an autopsy, the patient can wait" 💀💀💀
