Ответить"It's been a month, and I already see progress with Planet Ayurveda’s herbal supplements for autism. My son is sleeping better and seems more present and communicative. Grateful to find a natural option that works!"
ОтветитьPasta baby autism second baby prabdlm ple riply
ОтветитьOoh I've been waiting for a shift in terminologies to avoid the “ high/low” adj. Okay I'd like to look into what better ways to describe a complicated spectrum….mild is the key term lll reference point from
ОтветитьAutism is the key to success (I'm delusional)
ОтветитьIn india no one even think about autism
ОтветитьYou need nicotine to reverse it/mild symptoms.
ОтветитьNo such thing as "mild autism"
ОтветитьJust to clarify. People do not have autism. It is not something you can take from yourself.
Please say autistic people or people that are autistic.
I have high functioning autism, and people make fun of me for banging my head or hitting myself at random times. 😭😢
Ответитьmy friend is so autistic help😢😭
Ответитьmy friend is so autistic help😢😭
ОтветитьEveryone please look into the autistic wheel, autism is not a linear spectrum etc.
ОтветитьThe naming of high/low/mild functioning labels, it depends on cultures and individuals on what's "right" and "wrong". I live in Asia, and there are also groups who still use these labels, including Asperger's - all which some outspoken Western autistics hate it.
There are also groups of autistic adults who refer themselves as "autistic", while others sees themselves as "Asperger's" depending on how they were diagnosed. Some who were diagnosed as "Asperger's" did change to calling themselves just "autistic", while some didn't. Some prefer to call themselves aspies, while some prefers autistic, it really all depends.
I've came across so many different autistics in different communities, and their views are always the "right" one to themselves.
Some went as far as to name calling, and gang up on those who do not agree with them. They also do not listen to others views and shut them down. That's what I've observed as an diagnosed autistic.
I feel the need to point out that there is no such thing as "mild autism". Even when that terminology was being used officially, it was inaccurate, and now it is not even an "official" term anymore. Your using it as part of a video title helps perpetuate a harmful assumption. If you want to let people know they may have formerly heard this term, you may use it as a search keyward or specify in the title that the term is obsolete and does not correspond with the reality of autism, as reported by autistic people themselves. Good day
Ответитьthere is no such thing as "mild" autism. as an adult with AuDHD I can say it is a spectrum, not from "high to low" but from different to different.
this type of ableistic thinking is harmful to the autistic community. please stop.
Thanks for you help good
ОтветитьThe text above your head in this video says
"Mild autism",
but you say in this video:
"Mild Functioning Autism",
I will safely assume that
you mean the same 1 thing by these 2.
.
Q.:
Is "Mild Functioning Autism
higher or lower
compared to
"High Functioning Autism"?
.
Thank you.
If there’s mild, then there’s spicy or even flaming hot.
Ответить“Mild” is as harmful as high and low labels.
Ответить"Mild Autism" is a description that, I personally feel, belittles the possibilities of the condition. Autistic people are remarkably talented provided you can find what interests them/us. Admittedly there are some who truly experience difficulty with learning and analysing/understanding their situation and experiences and, as such, require greater support than mine (I have a degree, have been on expedition into the Australian outback, taught various outdoor pursuits and am studying the condition on a Masters in an attempt to understand further.
Although I personally appreciated the label (it allows me to study it better) there's no box into which an autist would consistently fit, we vary too much in our behaviour.
If anything needs to be done it's to bring our existence into the public consciousness to allow a certain level of understanding and the hope of familiarity that kills the fear of the condition.
Any data is good data ;)
Autism is expressed as a spectrum for a damned good reason; you'll never meet the same autist "type" twice because there is no stereotypical autist. I can understand and appreciate how non-verbals can get so frustrated with their situation of not being able to express how they feel. This comes out in the form of frustrated violence.
OMG THIS IS MORE MISINFORMATION- If you care about us, take this th down pleaseeeee!!
ОтветитьI got bullied in 5th grade, but I didn’t know, but I assumed it was because my bullies knew I was most likely autistic and they didn’t like the way I acted ‘differently’. I punched one of them in the nose for this. I also got harassed for being scared of bees where kids on the lunch table in 5th grade would tell me there was one behind me and that really scared me. Luckily, my parents took care of this. I don’t get bullied anymore, but it was just so annoying and scary. I have high functioning autism, just in case you’re curious.
ОтветитьBen 48 yaşinda Asperger-autist.
ОтветитьResearching where ? Whre is your evidence for what you are claiming
ОтветитьExcuse me. If an autistic child gets out of control in class like if they have frequent meltdowns why would you suggest the cooldown room to process their sensory overloads?
ОтветитьI'm concerned about my 33 year old getting a better job, other than fast food, retail, or Goodwill. I'm concerned with him finding affordable housing and finding friends.
ОтветитьBut there is nothing mild about mild autism… it’s equally stressful… even more so sometimes because people don’t understand it and make quick judgments
ОтветитьI have mildish autism i can do lots of things however some cases i can have a meltdown from time to time and i don’t like my self to just get all frustrated with things that don’t matter.
ОтветитьI just took a test and found out i might have mild autism
ОтветитьStop using terms such as High, mild and low functioning terms are misleading and offensive. It completely undermines, invalidates and dismisses the very real struggles the autistic community experience everyday. Particularly children.
Autism is a spectrum. We all have our own individual autistic profiles.
Concentrate on working out these individual profiles and understanding and meeting individual needs rather than pigeon holing us.
We all have significant struggles everyday. Terms like mild functioning just means that person is good at masking. Masking being a damaging coping strategy that is programmed into us along with people pleasing, should be done to make other people feel lore comfortable rather than asking for reasonable adjustments and support.
Do better.
Listen may God bless them and keep them I don't get along with them they remind me too much of narcissist even though I know that they're not but I had a really long friendship with several of them and I really didn't like it I know that they have a mental condition but so do psychopaths and sociopaths it doesn't mean I need to be around them now I know that autistic people aren't like psychopaths and sociopaths but being a person that studied psychology all through my life there's an extreme similarity between narcissistic individuals and autistic people
ОтветитьDon't know where autism cam from believe me when i say it is overwhelming
ОтветитьAutism is a spectrum, not a linear line.
There are no levels to Autism.
You simply have some traits and don't have others.

ОтветитьI love the captions that you use the rolling helps me stay focused, where did you get those captions? Thank you
ОтветитьThis is a problem I have with the current method of diagnosis for Austism: conditions that once had their own specific diagnoses, i.e. Asperger's, Rett's, CDD, PDD-NOS, along with Autism Disorder (i.e. "Classic Autism") are now simply cumped together under the ASD umbrella. ASD as a category is not the problem I see, but the omission of specific diagnoses within the spectrum is. I believe that if doctors are to be effective in theraputics they must be specific and accurate in diagnostics. The termonology to classify persons as "high", "low" or even "mild" as you put it, is still misleading and also a bit judgemental of individuals who may not speak much or at all but are able to take care of themselves (e.g. personal hygiene, chores, making eye contact, etc.) maybe even better than highly articulate individuals who have trouble or refuse to do such basic things. Specificity of diagnosis would be helpful but it is also important to note that every invididual's expression of ASD is going to be different from one person to another; yes there are many similarities, but there are just as many differences. Utilizing the specific categories from the DSM-4 (mentioned above), and building and expanding on these specific disgnoses (and finding their genetic/physiological nuances) I believe could be beneficial in addressing and aiding those with ASD much more so than the diluted, redactive, generalized method currently being implemented by the majority of physicians and other health professionals.
ОтветитьWhat if you are a parent with mild autism and have a child with mild autism?

ОтветитьIf you’re not autistic, how ever you describe it is only your external observation. Calling it high functioning or mild does not take into account the internal experience of autism. This is complete bullshit, coming from somebody with “mild autism” or “high functioning autism”. No, I’m autistic.
