There is no time so time doesn't flow and it's not affected by anything. Gravity isn't actually a force and neither is magnetism. These are just currents of space like the currents of the sea. We use terms like matter and force and time because it's convenient to explain to each other what we perceive as events.

Perhaps we should change the term "space-time" to position-time because it does not take sequence into account. Sequence-change is what we really mean by time. If sequence-change could not exist before space-time began, it could not have happened at all.

If you are reading you are important for obvious reasons. Would you listen to me because I was religious and atheist and I escaped out of the cults inmune to arguments being honest thank God? God is Time and Space, everything that experience everything, all eternal and infinite reality. I would like you to reflect on one fact, regardless of when the universe was created God existed always before. I know God exists because something can not be created from nothing and it is impossible the existence of an infinite regress. It is impossible the existence of the creation without the creator, and i am not asking you to believe me, only to think logically. If everyone can understand that an intelligence created the creation from eternal existence from self shouldn't humanity be cautious and not live lying shamelessly defending an idea without any arguments just in case there are further eternal consequences for hurting God’s Creation? God is easy to explain and impossible to understand because we can not comprehend the existence of infinitude. When we hurt others we hurt God. God is the Mind Healer that experience all love and hate, pain and joy, happiness and unhappiness, health and illness in the universe. Would you memorize and understand a logical fallacy to preserve knowledge and not lie to innocent and vulnerable children? Atheism is a logical fallacy that assumes God is the religious idea of the creator of the creation to conclude wrongly no creator exists because a particular idea of God doesn’t exist. Atheists commit the atheist fallacy always because they believe God is sky daddy and don't believe God exists, and they are wrong because they believe. The atheist logical fallacy would test your IQ and honesty and the error in reasoning is easy to understand being honest and impossible lying to oneself. Future generations would understand, so why don't you? To end the war in Ukraine the discovery that atheism is a logical fallacy has to be news. Nothing can be more important and urgent.

Time doesn’t exist because.. it is man made. Time was created to keep track of day and night! There’s no such thing of a new day because the day never changes it’s all an illusion there’s no such thing as a Monday, Tuesday Wednesday Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday let alone such thing as January February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December those are all man made that is apart of time. Hence as in to why there will never be a Time Machine. But you can move forward and back, back and forward but never to a specific time simply because time doesn’t exist!

What about if time speeds up in 2021 I had a pycosis were time speed up.

TIME DOES NOT EXIST, it’s a measure of movement. The clock moves, the sun moves, and this is how we create (in our minds) a way of placement IN SPACE.

The 4th dimension is the inverse of our 3rd dimension. In the 3rd dimension we have unlimited space and can move through that space with an artificial perception of placement in time. In the 4th dimension there is unlimited time and the soul / consciousness can move through it with an artificial perception of space.

Conscious beings exist at both levels. The soul / consciousness is not bound by the limitations of space and movement just like the body is not bound by the limitations of time movement. It’s two sides of the same coin.

The concept of time has been debated by scientist / physicist frequently, but if you apply simply common sense to their arguments it become easy to understand facts about our reality.

This concept presents the eternal nature of our existence and is truly liberating. It removes the shackles and fear of death thereby freeing the soul and body to realize it’s true purpose / potential. I could deeply elaborate here but I believe the best advice I can give is that people recognize that choice is the true meaning of life. We must choose between selfishness (a single consciousness) OR selflessness (a harmony of multiple consciousness.)

Think about it and then choose wisely.

To say time in an illusion is a gross over generalization. It just works in an unintuitive way at different scales. Time is real.

I've always had a problem with old father time. The cruel nature of it slipping through our fingers, no opportunity (seemingly) to press rewind and undo mistakes 😔

I think, time is not real. It is construct that has been put forward. If there was no intelligent life, would time still exist? No.

Say I quit drinking last month. A family member also decides to quit yesterday. I have gone 30x longer than them without a drink. Time continues to move on along our perceived single axis, but as 3 years gone by our differences in time without a drink is much less than 1%. The more time passes, the less time makes a difference.

So time is determined by weight/gravity?

Anything which can disappear can't be real. Time disappears at light speed, therefore it can't be real.

Dear, a body in motion creates the concept of time. Earth rotates on its axis and around the Sun. In our body blood flows in blood vessels. Food travels in the alimentary canal. If the Earth and other celestial bodies stop movement and the heart stops its beating there will be no movement of blood. We become still. Thus there is no TIME in the space. It is only planets/ stars/living bodies/ waterfall/ any changing entity that creates TIME. Light travels 299792458 km / second. In Cesium-133 the atom vibrates 9,192,631,770 times in a second. Either displacement of a particle/body OR change of its position OR change of its nature invites TIME.

I never thought about it this way but every black hole is essentially the death of a whole galaxy. So we can't observe a black hole in our own universe because the sun IS that black hole.

Fact, I came here a few years after listening to Summer Walker’s song insane, and that line got me to thinking about the line where she says time ain’t even real. ❤

I could speak about so many topics for so long so ill try to keep my thoughts on time short, time has and always has existed since long before us any other life forms in the universe, its goes back to gods and that how god were discovered in the first place. The unexplainable. And that doesnt disprove god. Or any other gods. We dont fully understand anything yet. If you deeply think about time and other topics with a creative outlook, then you will start to understand just how little we know. And that the laws of man are not the same as the laws of god or the universe. Maybe the universe is the brain inside god a much higher lifeform. If you look at disgrams of brain scans etc, it oddly resembles space and how the universe is connected. We dont understand the brain, we dont understand space, time, god. Its all connected. But with every passing second of time we get closer. Will we learn in our lifetime, i doubt it. But given we dont all go extinct the future is looking interesting. Time is just time and its being manipulated by a much higher life form. Whether you believe in god or not the belief of other life existing in the universe is incredibly high. Same goes for a god even if theres less belief in that.

Time is not an illusion. A perception of time as unchangeable can be an illusion, but not time itself.
You can't say that something dosen't exist because it can be altered by velocity and gravity. If it didn't exist there would be nothing gravity and velocity could alter in the first place.
Without time there couldn't be any movement, and there's obviously movement in the universe.

If I can travel at 2000 m/s and my neighbor's house is 50 meters away, I go back and forth 20 times.
Would I be able to count each time that I go and return? Could I count up to 20 in one second?
Would I be able to see , realize and remember each time I need to turn back?
It seem like we cant process any information, we can change the speed we move, but not the speed we perceive and think.

Times and Times. This is an example of how this language called English can have so many different spells and meanings. We are trained to think there is 365 days in a year based off a spell. It is a constant repeat of 7 days. We can’t do money that way you cant just keep recounting 10 dollars until it adds up to a thousand because it is physical and no one would let you pay them 10 dollars instead of a thousand dollars just because you recounted it a hundred times as if it was more than what it is. But we do this with days and until we bridge that gap between truth and illusions we will continue to suffer as a whole.

The problem people have, myself included, is that relativistic time is not the time that we all grow up understanding really, really deep in our intelligence. Time is a clock, a constant ticking, numbers and days and years. It's also about 'getting old' which happens to everyone and we all experience in the same way. But science time, Einstein time, is a coordinate. It would be so much easier if he had called this coordinate something other than 'time' or 'timespace'. He should have just created a whole new word for it. It affects our understanding of time but it's called something else.

Time passes! Times change! We hear this said everywhere, and automatically a picture arises in the spirit: We see changing times marching past us!

This picture becomes so en-grained that for many it also forms a solid foundation on which they continue to build, adjusting their whole research and speculation to it. Time is an emergent property, that means it does not exist on its own but comes about by the observers acknowledgement of change or movement. If there is no change, no time passes. So, gravity affects the rate of change (molecular movement), that's why gravity is said to 'warp' (bend) time.

Human ageing is a chemical/organic process, we have observed many generations of such 'ageing' and are able to recognise its progress as roughly the same in most humans (say 70 years). However, we also know that individuals may have genetic or dietary differences that might affect the 'ageing' process, so life lengths can vary.

'Time' doesn't affect objects, energy and movement do. A loaf of Bread doesn't go bad because of time, we simply notice that at a particular temperature (input energy), the Sun and Moon pass overhead a certain number of times (occasions). Put the bread in a pantry or fridge and the processes and bacteria within it will move more slowly and the bread will last longer (over a longer period of observable change).

My belief is, Time does not itself exist as an external energy or force and does NOT in any way drive change. Time is comparison of noticeable change, in comparison to the change in another observable.

Last thing - if a water meter physically measures the amount of actual water to have passed through it, does a clock physically measure the 'time' it has come into contact with?

The future is unattainable as there are an infinite amounts of possible futures, the past is something you can never go back to. The present is the only constant of the perception of time.

You would have to have a developed mind and a level of consciousness to perceive the concept of time. If you didn't have any of the above mentioned, time is non-existent.

No separate things existing means this cosmos is just one infinite all encompassing reality.
One infinite reality means there is no such a thing as you and me as we know it. Either we are nothing or we are everything.

The fear of time running out is a crippling disorder. It makes you live in the past always. The inability to live in the presence is like never living. You take a vacation, but you worry about when you must go back to work! Before you know it, the vacation time is over and you couldn’t fully enjoy it! George Carlin had a genius skit about “what time is it?” He explained that by the time you finish asking the question, the right answer no longer exists! So time could be like a black hole that swallows everything that falls in it instantly, so that you never have the chance to see what falls in it! Time is meaningless without motion or change. Time is a measurement of experience and exposure. Time intriguingly is also a measure of inaction when it is associated with the agony of not doing anything, like waiting in a long line or sitting in a jail cell. According to special relativity, time dilate or stops when the object moves at the speed of light. This is because at such speed, the exposure or the amount of experience at such speed is overwhelming that the space within which the object moves is so severely distorted that it is so difficult to register any noticeable motion within it! It looks as if the world stoped moving and hence no time progression is detected! Time is an illusion because it is subject to how we perceive time. It is totally dependent on how our conscious process time. Some naps we take could feel like we slept for a very long time while a very long coma could feel like we just had a short nap! Only motion and change could measure time. Einstein genius lied in his ability to add time as another dimension to every point in space. This is to say that space is not itself a still frame of reference. It is actually very dynamic and moving objects within such space makes it even more dynamics! That’s why there is no absolute frame of reference in this universe. We could only measure our car speed relative to the surface of the street, but the latter is moving around the axis of the earth at about 1,000 miles per hour, which is also rotating around the sun completing one rotation every solar year! Everything is illusive even what you think is your measuring stick!

Depends on how we define time....time is an illusion if we try to understand it without us being in the equation...but how can we understand something without being in the equation ...
