Good movie

I escape this modern world into , the stars , the character actors you see in all these type of movies, the moral compass, darkness always made light. I do not want to see a reflection of the darkness that is now. Hollywood had its terrible dark side behind the scenes. I just want to see magic, to fall into the arms of the screen. From ' Citizen Kane ' through 'Farewell to Arms', to the ' Godfather ' . Charlie Chaplin, and Orson Welles, Fred Astaire and Marilyn. I am a big fan of Joel Mcrea ad Richard Conté. Love this !

1. This movie tells an inaccurate story of the building of the Canadian Pacific railroad.
2. It also views the Indians as simple-minded fools who can be easily influenced by the white men. That a group of indigenous warriors are not intelligent enough to tell the difference between a cigar and a stick of dynamite borders on racism. 3. Doctor Edith Cabot (Jane Wyatt) is a one dimensional liberal whose anti-gun principles are so rigid that her character ceases to be credible.
