I can't seem to get past the upload theme. It's loaded, activated but a pop up keeps insisting I 'connect' with mythemeshop - which prompts my WordPress passport but it keeps saying the connection failed. Anyone with any ideas?

Why do I need to pay for a host first? I have read in a number of different books you don't necessarily need to pay for a host before you create your site..you can create your site than pay for a host... I would think that is a economical option no?

What if someone ..a family member ..have created one using your data and took remote access to my devices and made herself a super user..how to confirm.

I use WP I love it. Take your time to figure it out, get confident with it. It will be a valuable asset to your resume.

What if i already have Domain register with the other. Is it good to transfer the hosting. Do I have to pay more if I choose a hosting transfer.

Hello sir i want to remove CATEGORY from all post URL's. Sir i have Copy&Paste this code into .htaccess file:- RewriteRule ^category/(.+)$ @t [R=301,L] But Category only removed when i put /%category% into Custom Structure.
Another issue coming after putting above mentions code is that when i see my post Category comes again along with post.
Can you help on this?

You have got to be kidding. Watching this video is like watching a pilot start an airplane with no explanation of why he is performing any of the motions he is performing to start the airplane. This video is a total waist of time for any body trying to learn how to create a website on word press. Go back and start again.

Just watching your video, and wanted to ask in creating a new top menu is it necessary to have HOME in the pages section, because it does not show up in the create new menu section. Just the ABOUT, CONTACT, RESOURCES are showing up. I guess anyone can just click back on the logo name of the site to return to home page? Does that make sense? thx, Mark

Why does everybody assume one needs to start with getting a domain name and a host. What if I already have a live website NOT built with Wordpress and I want to recreate my website with WordPress but keep my domain. How do I do that? This is a problem many people have but no one is making instructions for it. Why? Because all they care about is addlink money and they all promote blue host here!
