ОтветитьMountain were a great Band
ОтветитьIn them days, to get distortion on your guitar, you had to crank it up to 100%!!!
ОтветитьReal showmanship.

ОтветитьLoved Randys variation on the song
ОтветитьLeslie never played fast, but you sing every note he played, the name of the game was tone of which he was the master.

ОтветитьI so miss real bands ,hell I miss the rock scene of the 70s best time to be a kid
ОтветитьЗдорово 👍 рокеры рок 🎸 рольщики рокерши самые лучшие и честные музыканты не какой фанеры все делают в живую рок 🎸 навсегда здорово 👍
ОтветитьI was at one of those kick ass concerts in the 70’s and I’m still recovering….lol
Ответитьwith out a doubt , one of the best live versions of this AWESOME F'N song. , Leslie West's vocals Soooooooo filled with passion..
ОтветитьThe great Fatsby !
ОтветитьThe concerts at Randall’s Island were amazing. Great bands played there. As a Queens kid, we could drive or take public transportation to Astoria and take a long walk across the Triboro Bridge to get to the stadium.
ОтветитьBorn in 53. This is one of the sixties - seventies bands propagate the essence of rock and roll brimming with spunk, passion, sensuality and raw emotion. It was an era of genius songwriting, innovative compositions, and musicians who had complete control of their instruments.I enjoy discovering new music, yet returning to the tunes of this era always feels like coming home.
Ответить😊my parents had a
Killer stereo. I had a $20 okay stereo but was playing this song at maximum volume as they walked through the door. He whipped it off and broke it over his knee. Hilarious. 😆 I’d do it ag😢again in a heartbeat
He was a great guitar player. At first he used sunn amps
ОтветитьLes Paul Jr. one little pick up no pedals, no. Whammy bar? Only takes one match and a room full of gasoline.
ОтветитьSomeone on this video commented that this band was scarier than Black Sabbath
ОтветитьForget Taylor swift ,i am no swiftly!….😊
Ответить73 old hippie grandma...who is still rocking...gosh we really did have the best music ever and the best times....
ОтветитьSaw them in 71
ОтветитьI was at this concert.
ОтветитьMountain yeah that’s rock and roll RIP Felix and Leslie
ОтветитьIn 1972, I was 11.
This freaked me out.
of course this is one of the first songs that I learned how to play,
It’s still one of the songs that I love to listen to, regardless of who is playing it.
Pretty disrespectful to your band to put your name on the bass drums insted of band logo .
ОтветитьAmbassador theatre St Louis,MO Leslie West never opened his eyes for three hours.
ОтветитьI WAS A STUDENT IN A MUSIC CONSERVATORY.....DOUBLE MAJOR IN VOICE
AND PIANO. I PLAYED MOUNTAIN CONSTANTLY....THEY ROCKED MY WORLD. CHECK OUT THE FINGERING. FABULOUS. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😅😅😅😅
This clip is pure gold! So thankful for the people who had enough vision to save these immortal performances!
ОтветитьCheck out the Video after Mountain as well, its amazing how good blues can be
ОтветитьThats Mountain ! Leslie West had the ideal voice for that band. But they keep showing Felix Paplardi at the mike. Lesli made me want a Les Paul jr. I wound up with one a LP special and aP custom. Not to mention a 335 and my Fenders.
ОтветитьLESLIE WEST WAS THE BOMB. HIS VOICE WAS FABULOYS. CHECK OUT HIS GUITAR FINGERING. SHIT.....BREATH TAKING. AND THE DRUMMER HAS THE HOTS. AMAZING GROUP. PLAYED THEM ALL THRU MY FIRST COLLEGE DEGREE IN A CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC. DOUBLE MAJOR IN VOICE AND PIANO. 😊😊😊😊😊🎉❤
ОтветитьA landmark performance
Ответить1972. I had just come back from Vietnam. It was a crazy time but it was the greatest of times
ОтветитьWatching all these Vietnam clips.... Got me wondering.... How does the band avoid the draft? Does President Nixon and the draft board say, "You are the world's greatest guitarist, playing the world's greatest song, in the world's greatest way. You go play Randall's Island and dont worry about the war!? If you had to boil rock and roll down to 3 minutes and 54 seconds... This might be it!
ОтветитьTHIS BAND ROCKED OUR WORLD. LESLIE WAS A MONUMENTAL FORCE TO BE RECONDED WITH JESUS FUCK......DO I MISS HIM. AMAZING GROUP. 😊😊😊😊😂😂😂❤
