I want to start exercising, but I'm so out of shape and overweight that I can't even do basic exercise, what am I supposed to do? The more I don't exercise the fatter I get, because I can't exercise. I'm going to end up becoming morbidly obese at this rate and dying of a heart attack. I don't want to be a fat dude for the rest of my life, I am out of breath by simply getting out of my chair, but my body isn't really giving me a choice, I don't even eat much, and I make sure the limited amount of food I eat is healthy stuff, but I keep putting on pounds regardless. Everyone thinks I'm just lazy and that I eat junk food all the time but it's not like that...

I was a slacker that made some wrong moves and ended up in prison. Best time of my life!
I had 20 bottles of 50cl cola from first months inside and then i started to fill them with water to get 10kg in total.
Too much time in cell made me do ~500 pushups/day and 1000 situps in different positions and style.
Gained 16kg (!!) on the few months i had left from a year. Started working out when it was 6 months left, a little bit less. When i got out, it took me less then a month to lose it all. It takes me about 10 years to gain 1kg that is permanent. Not joking.

But hey, "Per Aspera, Ad Astra. Through thorn, towards the stars". Right? Im back on track and have chosen a gym now. Gonna just focus on going to the gym at first but when i see progress i know i will wanna go deeper into this.

Are the towel pullups same effective as actual pullups?
I have nothing to do pullups on
And also is it correct to start this workout and stop DO THIS in the middle of the 2nd week?
Last thing, Am I missing something or there are actually no abs workouts?

It's amazing how much increase in protein consumption and only a week of doing bodyweight exercises improved my physique. People say, oh, you lost so much fat! I thought about joining the local gym, but I don't need a gym! Nor do I need weights!

In pull-ups you said chest to bar. What if I could do a clean rep with the chin over the bar, but not with the chest touching the bar? Would that still count?
