Story goes that Ringo presented a rough draft of this sone to Paul and John, but they thought there was nothing there. After they broke up and he was working on his album he and George put together this version. Great song!

Ringo is such a likeable guy. The Beatles might be the only band that broke up, and still, every single one of them went on to have great musical careers afterwards.

I'm old enough to remember when this song got so much airplay in '71, but I hadn't heard it or thought about it for many years. Then for some reason it popped into my head about a week ago and I can't get rid of it. Oh well. It's downright catchy, so I guess there are worse songs to have stuck in your head.
