I'm actually a massive Mario Balotelli fan and have been for a long time.
I Was absolutely over the moon when Liverpool signed him up and couldn't wait for him and Sturridge to line up front together. unfortunately Sturridge broke down so this couldn't happen.
Anyone who has played football or has a clue about football would understand that NOT all Strikers can play up front alone that's just how it is don't need to have an IQ of over 200 to understand this.BALLOTELLI has continually been criticised all through the season by clueless people who have no idea about the game.
This game for example Balotelli is brought on changes the game. all the sudden confidence has crept into all the reds players playing good football passing the ball around creating chances. Balotelli brought fear in the eyes of the defenders that's why he was brought down so many times.
Balotelli was brought off the bench late against both Swansea at Anfield (CUP GAME) and against Spurs at Anfield and changed the game on both times.
BR signed Benteke should of kept Balotelli and played both Benteke and Balotelli up front. with Coutinho playing just behind the Strikers this would of been a deadly forward structure .
