I like the cutscene in sims 2 ❤

Damn sims 4 didnt even bother with the mailbox animationn. I didnt realize it was all these little things that made me fall in love with sims 2 and i couldn't find what was lacking until I realized it was all those small details (chess board actually playing chess, cooking and prepping meals properly and not like a clown, etc)

Thanks to mods, you can vacation in the University in Sims 3 with Nraas traveler, and set up a community college lot in ANY world with the community college mod.

Ironically, games that has trashy graphics tend to have more features than games that has high graphics

TS2 was the GOAT imo. University in TS3 was and is barely functional, and TS4’s is 10x worse because on top of sims taking forever to do things and randomly stalling out, you can’t send your sims to class early and they’ll always miss half of it.

Being able to build and design my own university and all the buildings within is just completely unmatched and I’m sad we’ll never get a game that allows me to do that again.

The sims education system is better designed than actual real life eduaction system.. wich still is 150yrs old

TS2/TS3 really depict the grueling college life and careless debauchery as per my personal experiences.

I love how many random events happen in the sims 3 university it makes the game so fun such random campus events or getting invited to parties

sims 2 is fun, sims 3 is interesting, sims 4 is

honestly i like them all. each of them have really good things, its kind of hard for me to pick just one without seeming biased considering ive never played sims 2 or 3 though, lol

It's baffling to me how TS4 manages to be mid at everything

I like how the Sims 4 wanted to have less rabbit holes yet the Sims 3 has less because you can actually see them attending lectures and their lessons outside
It’s also watered down, but so are all the other expansions in that game compared to the Sims 2 and 3’s expansions so I guess it’s nothing new

This game ran almost perfectly on bricks decades ago, and Sims4 basically comes with less material and brakes your Gaming PC.

One thing I really liked about TS2 is how "Expressive" everything is. TS3 toned it down a bit, but was still good. If only there were mods that added all TS2 animations/behaviors into TS3. Another thing I really liked about TS2 is it gave you freedom to build the map exactly as you see fit, almost like SimCity.

Is that only me who think TS4 did a good job than 2 version? 🥲

I've never played Sims 3 so I don't know if it was a thing there, but what I miss the most in Sims 4 is having the opportunity to start a band like in Sims 2. I sooooo loved that feature. Whenever my sims were done studying for the day, I would always let them make music

I love sims 3 university. I used to max out terms, edit the map, and live there from fall to spring then go back home to my houseboat at isla paradiso for summer lol

Fyi in Sims 2 if your SIM hits it off with their professor and ends up dating them, they get better grades. Each interactions counts as tutoring regardless of what it is.

Sims 3 mascot can F the right off along with Into The Future and it's time machine/teleporter. The newspaper is bad enough but atleast I have a 75% chance of canceling it before it mucks up my Sims lot before he/she can comment on the cheap starter home stuff.

Anywho for Sims 3 this is one pack I think should be left out for game stability sake, it only really has to do with college students and doesn't have a huge impact before or after going. You could max a Sims career without using the pack before you could graduate from it. It could be detrimental.

Sims 2 it was good if you wanted college just the same as Sims 3 so they are the winner together, sims 4 itself can F right off even though this pack added more than the base game did as far as gameplay.

I so wish these were voice acted 😭 I tend to watch sim videos while multitasking so it's too hard to read.

Watching these makes me low key sad because my sister has the sims 4 (sister let’s me play it) but we lost our sims 2/3 disks when we moved a long time ago 😭

As someone who has a bachelors degree, Sims 3 and 4 are more realistic and relatable

I like the students all being seen moving in with their luggage 🥺

For me personally, the sims 3 really looks like it has a lot to do on the surface however it becomes boring after a few days and eventhough I'm patient i find myself having to force myself to keep playing however with the sims 2 even if you stay in your dorm for the entirety of your stay at university, it's never boring. You can have family over to visit, annoy the mascots that visit, play on arcades, and there's always some drama going down between your dormies. Again for me personally, the sims 2 always manages to keep me engaged whether it's with a toga party or a cow mascot setting off the fire sprinklers

The only detail I dislike from The Sims 2 is how long does it take to graduate. Like, for real... 3 days per semester is a VERY long time...

Sims 3 university was the best, it had that unique vibe I remember being a student myself. It was my fav pack in sims 3, felt so much alive. So I waited so much to see what EA will do to sims 4… to find out it’s boring as hell… campus is always empty, nobody around, no cool events or details. Just lack of life as always.

I would say Sims 4 is the most realistic(atleast when comparing it to what my older sister told me 'cause she's 21 I am 16).

I love the campus of the sims 3 university, the coffee shop, the bowling alley, the actually open buildings, it’s such an immersive world and I love it

My only issue is that you can’t live on the world outside of uni, I found that disappointing as someone who grew up in a university town
