Best wheel in the game..i skate 53-54mm 99A. I do prefer the color of the og spitfire classics, but the f4 formula makes up for that.

I can never flatspot any wheel 🤷‍♂️ I skated a bones stf for 3 years, had 0 flatspots during the whole time and they only went down to 47 from 52. I also skated 99A Spitfires. They lasted me 4 years, and again, I never flatspotted them.

Bone is actually harder cuz 83b is equivalent to 103a on the a scale that’s what bones says atleast

Do you usually skate transition with these 51-53mm wheels I see you riding? I see you skate bowls but I always wonder if you use bigger wheels when doing so.

How much of a difference would there be from the spitfire bighead 90a to the formula 4 classic in either durometer? The bigheads are grippier than I would like but they are my first and only wheel and I am just now getting close to needing new wheels. Does my weight matter at all? Skating mostly concrete and trying to figure out transition currently.

hey so i have 101a wheels and i know they are not meant for cruising but they go like 10 feet tops with 5 hard pushes... what is wrong? what do i need to do?

Havent skated in almost a decade and don't remember so many options tbh at least not at my local skateshop. Im a pure street skater and for transportation what wheel can you recommend for street and rough surfaces i just ordered some formula 4 54 mm 101as. And damn the more reviews i watch the more i realize i know fuck all 😶 still stoked to get back into it

Bought 101's on accident and opened them. Hope I don't hate them

STFs are good wheels, the V2 shape is probably the best wheel that exists for doing grinds, but I find bones STFs to be too hard for a lot of street spots, which is sad because street is what they were made for. I prefer spitfire 99s or 101s...I think if you do a lot of boardslides on ledges or tricks where you are sliding your wheels during a grind, they 101 spitfires are better for that, or if you do tons of powerslides, which I do. But I still usually ride the spitfire 99s because the Wisconsin streets are soooooooo rough and the 99 rides a little better.

I don't know where you pulled that 101As are harder than 83b (must have been out of you ass.)

Havent tried formula 4 but all the other spits ive had have flat spotted immediately and the ones i have now are brand new and are chunking. Never had that problem on bones, autobahns, or pigs. Havent tried bones stf either. My current favorite wheel is the bones spf sidecuts. Powerslide allllllll day no flats.
