Always been half inclined to go and hire on a merchant vessel. I don't live anywhere near the sea but i always felt an affinity towards it. But im getting older every year, and im also very attached to my landlocked state. Probably will never happen, but i fear that someday i will regret not doing what i could when i was young enough to do it.

Sorry this is so late to the game but just found you yesterday and im loving your content instead of watching all the yachting content that I will never be able to do i find some real content I can relate to getting my hands dirty and working your balls off for a living. I've noticed from your videos that you have been assigned everywhere from the great lakes to alaska to the atlantic ocean and was wondering how it works. Does the SIU fly you to these locations to meet these ships? How do you get home once the contract is done?

Ruff seas? You have not seen Ruff seas until you sail in the North Sea area. Times the deck can be + or - 30feet and rolls so much, very bad things will and can happen. Wearing PPE AND SCUBA, that must have been hard on you guy's in that heat. CUOTO Fair Winds and Following Seas. 👍✌
