I saw this band in May of 1989 at the Rialto Theater in Raleigh, NC. It was so laid back and awesome. We got out of our seats and moved down to the front and sat on the floor and watched them. This cover of this song is my favorite of all time.

wow... what a great version.... Lou Reid said this is his favorite version. I like playing both live versions, RockNRollAnimal and the Cowbory Junkies version.... WOW... And the Junkies is a tight band... And one beautiful woman leading the band. I couldn't concentrate playing without looking at her in a loving way.

the way they do it together is what makes this song for me.

I saw them in 1998/1999 on the campus of OSU at Newport Music Hall. During the songs, total silence as the audience took in what was one of the most heartfelt concerts I’ve ever been to. I’m so glad I was able to see them live even once. Her voice, is perfection.

Behind maybe Duane Allman, with connections with Gregg Allman and David Alan Cole, The Dikie Betts Band, association with The Grateful Dead makes him probably the most talented and well seasoned Guitarist.

Rock and roll at it's best gives me chill bumps every time I listen and that guitar solo is like WOW I've got that same guitar restoring it can't wait to hear that song coming out of it
