Great tutorial. Tip when dragging frames remember to hold spacebar to avoid auto-parenting or auto-nesting feature. It took me a while to find what was happening. After that everything awesome. Thanks for sharing!

When I combine these as variants, I can't use smart animate anymore.

Also when I drag the arrow from the first one to the second one, it doesn't select all the component, but one single layer from it.

you don't need the interactive component beta to do this...

What if it don't link to artboard with state, it links only to ellipse or icon, and property "Change to" don't appear in Interactions list?

I've tried this so many times. I was starting to think I was doing something wrong, until I found out it's still in beta.

For a UI/UX tool Figma has the most fucking disgusting UI I have ever had the displeasure of using. Its FUCKED.

Please be specific in your videos next time, it's great only when I was about to go crazy and found out that the feature is still in the beta version.

OK I’m using adobe XD and I’m thinking of transitioning to figma but I can’t find the component state on Figma the way it functions on XD. Basically on XD you don’t need to create extra objects on the side to animate one…

Or how do you do it on Figma?
