If I had to compare my recruiter customer service to fast food, it would be McDonald’s in the hood with a broken ice cream machine at 2 am.

They don't ship off to basic after meps anymore.

I admire the financial independence of people, But you can live better if you work a little more. After watching this I think there are people out there, on the extreme, who plan to die early just to be able to retire early. To each their own but to me retirement isn't just about not having to work, it's about having the freedom to do whatever you might reasonably want, such as travel, buying things, enjoying life, etc. I don't think I could retire with less than $3m in income generating investments, maybe $2m at the very minimum. I plan to work until I'm at least 45.

Are there waivers for the hearing test? I feel like I can pass everything else no problem.

This isn't anything like what my son is doing. He was sent to meps today just to do his in person ASVAB. He isn't staying there for anything else

How does requesting a waiver for an otherwise disqualifying attribute work?

Also, I’m a current CAP Cadet approaching my Billy Mitchell award which I know qualifies me for enlistment at E-3, when would I declare that and what admin related stuff would I have to do to ensure the benefit takes place when I get out of basic?

Can you know the job you get before going into basic training? Like have your job picked out instead of living it up to date and only knowing the job area?

My girlfriend was held at meps for an extra day because she had an eye stigmatism

Hi! So I have in the past when I was about 13 I wasn’t the smartest at handling my emotions. So I do have sh scars on my thighs. They are very faded and I have them covered up by tattoos. But they’re still noticable if you look real closely. Will they ever have a chance to look that closely to my skin? Do you think I can still qualify?

question - we are in Orange County CA. My daughter has been trying for a couple months now to just get the recruiter to send her to MEPS - what is the holdup . Her trail ASVAB was above average - all else is in line and everything is filled out - what is this waiting weeks upon weeks to get to go to MEPS time about ?

Hi Jody, my son was asked to get his pharmacy records and since the highschool had his IEP/504 plan ...they think he was on ADHD meds or somthing? How do we get a pharmacy record when our son has never had any prescriptions.?? Please advice thanks
