Stumbled on this Video Garry while searching out if I should go smaller or larger for Beach detecting as finds most is surface or just below. Looks like I will stick with my 11" DD on my Manticore having upgraded from the Nox 800. Love your hunting on Oak Island :) Have you tried the CTX3030 in the Gold Fields and compared to the Manticore in Prospecting mode. Cheers
ОтветитьSaludos desde Mexico 🇲🇽
ОтветитьI was inspired to get myself a metal detecter because of course of oak island. (Your my favorite person from the Shoen by the way). And the Bruh for my birthday I got a pin pointer.
ОтветитьStill looking for my top pocket find
ОтветитьY are you recommending one thing in your books, but in your videos u change it up? You make this really questionable?
ОтветитьVery interesting video. I purchased the 15 inch equinox coil to use on a beach in Florida this April but now I am second guessing myself. I will attest to the small coil working in trashy areas. I found a 1918 liberty half at a site I metal detected several times with a larger coil but the ground minerals and iron made it impossible to hear the good tones.
ОтветитьThanks Gary theirs treasure is in the informatio
ОтветитьSir, so if we am looking for small thin gold chains ⛓️ with my Equinox will the 6" coil be more sensitive locating them than the 11" ??? Thank you.
ОтветитьGary, I'm from Brazil and always watch your videos, congratulations for the job, cheers!
Ответитьhi Gary!
ОтветитьHi Gary,
When are you back on Oak Island for series 9?
Very good info Gary!
ОтветитьHow bout DD vs conceration coils PROS AND CONS?? Love to hear your take, Cheers, Godspeed.
ОтветитьI always tell people Minelab could have put any size coil on the Equinox or any of their other machines .They do a lot of testing on a machine before it is released to the public, They are going to put the best performing coil on the machine . If you want more coverage , stretch out the length of your detector shaft. You will cover more square feet with each swing . Good to see you back Gary.
ОтветитьGary, did you say, "winkle out"? Haaa 😂 (Does that mean sound off or make a sound?)
ОтветитьGreat video! Still learning and loving my new hobby. Getting a little better in the water. Thanks for these great tips. Your knowledge is endless.
ОтветитьLarger coil gets deeper targets. Go deeper
ОтветитьThanks Gary I’m from cape Breton Nova Scotia your video is very helpful keep them comming thanks again
ОтветитьSo happy to see ya back on here man. Please keep it going. Learning a lot from ya. 👍
ОтветитьGary, I need some help setting up basic discrimination on my CTX. Any DIY videos that show how to do it?
ОтветитьGreat advice. Thanks!
ОтветитьGOLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьSure has been a great learning tool. Dug probably 600 coins this summer on my nox 800 but funny just bought a 6 inch coil. I dont even use the pinpoint mode on the detector because I learned the coil and machine. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьExcellent video! I more often watch videos to learn a thing or 3 instead of the common watch over my shoulder as I dig up targets! Cheers!
ОтветитьGreat bit of advice buddy
ОтветитьI was just in vero beach for the past four days and thought of Gary Drayton! Visited the McCleary museum and wondered how many items you had contributed. Thanks for searching!
ОтветитьI saw a picture taken of Gary at Meyers in Tampa. I'll be living in Florida starting early September. It would be a thrill if Gary did a meet and greet or put on a presentation.
ОтветитьI tend to keep my detector standard at the moment
Ответитьso what are the big differences between newer and old metal detector . I have a really old garrett ground hog vlf/tr . I just play around w it and have used it for the property lines.
ОтветитьGreat video! Thank you!
ОтветитьGreat video Gary. I've seen people as well with massive coils. Here in the states we don't have as many Hordes of Treasures for those giant coils.
Any Detectorist around Sequim Washington? DM Me
Good info, Gary! Thank you!
ОтветитьCoool. They are engineers not people who dig. Also a search coil depth is generally related to its size. A 17inch coil will dig a 17 inch deep target. Don’t get me started on PI machines
ОтветитьHey Gary long time no see I guess oak I land kept ya busy. Thanks for the tips.
ОтветитьHey gary i really enjoy the curse of oak island and thank you so much for the info on detecting you are a big hero of mine i just cant get out so much any more because i have kidney failure but when you are on tv i feel like im right there with you
ОтветитьHey Gary, Sam from Washington St. Hope you are good brother! I need to get one and start treasure hunting!👍
ОтветитьThanks so much! Considering upgrading my old Bounty Hunter (which I love and find lots if neat stuff) to a Vanquish 540. Debating on getting the pro setup with two size coil's. Your thoughts?
ОтветитьFlorida Hunt 8... 😀
ОтветитьGreat video.informative
