The fact that this mission takes place in the Atacama desert gives a bit of resonance for me as a Chilean-American.

This game came out 2 years after BF3, and the tank mission in this game looks, feels, and plays so much worse than the one in BF3.

Probably the worst looking interior of an Abrams I’ve seen in terms of accuracy BF3 did a better job at getting it right. But I will say I wish our tanks were that nice inside.

The game says a tank battalion was deployed, a tank battalion consists of 240 tanks (according to my calculations which was the google calculator and wikipedia), and we see 2 tanks remaining at the end.

This means the US Army lost 238 tanks in the span of 12 minutes.

Only COD has the power to even make a tank mission look like arcade Hot Wheels fighting each other. Hell. What did COD became at this point.

Abd dont let me get started on the Vanguard plane mission. Several even amateur historians died of a stroke because of this.

I love how the Tonks become speed bumps when destroyed

The main things that drive me crazy about this mission are the fact that the tankers are all wearing full battle gear. Tankers don’t wear all that when in their tanks. They wear coveralls and a different style of helmet.

Second is the Abrams wouldn’t be deployed in the manner that they showed in the game. The Abrams is 55 tons empty. It’s not designed for air dropping
