Thank you for the excellent and detailed review! I received my X5 Pro yesterday, and I'm impressed with its quality. However, the issue I'm facing is that the DDPAI App (IOS) appears to be a mix of Chinese and English, including the SR Overlay on recorded videos, which remains solely in Chinese. Have you made any changes within the app to address this issue? (I've already set my language preference in the app to English.)

Hi, just bought the Dashcam. My one problem with it is that I cannot figure out how to get the camera to save two separate Sd card. I don’t want it to save to the internalized storage, I just want it to save to the card. I often find myself pulling the card in and out of the Dashcam for my purposes, and trying to download things from the app is just terrible. Do you know if once the internal storage is filled that it’ll switch over to the SD card?

Is there anyone having problem with the dashcam router? xiaomi 9, iphone 13 can't detect the dashcam wifi (try everything), while my older phone infinix note 4 pro able to detect it, ask for help from the local service center, but seem they don't even have a solution for me. Disaster!

I have this one too. The Wifi connections is erratic but a few clicks from the iphone gets it back.

Also Mihail, would there be rattling and sound issues due to the mounting system because of the plastic becoming hard over time and brushing against each other?

Hi Mihail, I read somewhere that this model has an issue where all data from the in-built 32gb emmc needs to manually be moved onto the SD card and that the integration / file system between the inbuilt and external storage isn't upto the mark. Is that so? Is there some way to get around that?

Just bought this dash cam, my phone cant even find the wifi from it, although i did go through the customer service and ask them to give me the new ones, but same problem no wifi founded, btw im using iphone 13 pro most latest ios, any suggestions? Thanks

Apart from the video image quality from the front camera there are many cons:

- NO ADAS or advance features its just typical dashcam which records 2 channel

- Nexdigitron is quite a bad reseller who does not entertain any complaints (Beaware of purchasing from Nexdigitron)

- wifi connectivity issue and since there is no screen its very difficult to see videos

- overpriced as compared to other dashcam available

can the 24 hours surveillance be deactivated if not needed even if it's still hardwired to the vehicle?

4K doesn’t support 90 fps, that’s 1080p I believe. 4K only records at 30 fps.

How does the DDPAI X5 Pro compare against the Viofo A139 Pro?

wished the DDPAI X5 Pro would have true 4K and HDR. I noticed hesitation and blurs, along with discoloration and noise. It's making progress. The Mola N3 Pro is terrible. The Z50 is not an improvement over the Z40.

How long do you think will it last? I have mine and I'm disconnecting it from its cord everytime I turn off my car. I'm scared because the device itself is too hot even just in parking mode. What more if it's 24/7 recording?

something is wrong with the mic or the rendering when transferring the video to smartphone. Mic volume is way too low to be heard.

Just got this one NIB yesterday and still testing at my desk! Installed 128GB card. It speaks Chinese only, I tried the app options but found nothing related to language for camera talks, no idea. And in the live view mode REC image is always gray, it never turns red with flashing active record mode but the camera records video because it's possible to to go back a reply. Another thing is that I can't register in the app as a new user, account verification email never received. Reported to DDPAI. And first portion of the power cable to the camera is too thick, not sure if it's going to fit under the roof liner. Will see how it goes. All comments are welcome!

thanks for all these reviews of dash cams. from what i read, all of them act as a Wi-Fi AP (Access Point) and you have to connect to the Wi-Fi to view recording / configure them. is there any dashcam which will connect to a Wi-Fi STA (pre-existing Wi-Fi hotspot) ?

bought straight from ddpai store. even I did hardwire kit installed., rear camera green light is on but can 't review for rear camera. Do I need to update camera firmware?

Everything looks good but it's lack of very important GPS coordinate information while recording. I think this is one of the drawback you forgot to mention.

the video quality looks good enough for its purpose but its special cable arrangement for the front & rear cameras means a no go for me. There is just one single cable for hardwiring which I'm not going to do. And I cannot use an OBD power cable or an external battery pack for parking mode. What you think is a minimalistic design becomes a turn-off for me, unfortunately.
