All of this on a one hour flight!? i flew SIN-BKK in April in singapore airlines business, in an A350 - lay flat bed etc.

I got nothing, they even refused to give me a bottle of water, it was a 'hassle'. although i got water... 10 min later...

I will never look at singapore airlines ever again in the same way.....

This is a really good airline. It's also the only one to ever upgrade my seat to business class and yes, it is dirt cheap hence being a fave. 😊

I live in the Middle East and travel extensively - Gulf Air business verges on first class standard and is unmatched by other local carriers - so good. The food, drink selection and staff are fantastic

I love your videos but i have to know, what is lemon mint? Is it lemonade with mint? I am making a mental note of all the signature drinks that you suggest so that I can try them when I fly business class.

I had bad service on GulfAir. Paid for an aisle seat in the exit with extra legroom and some guy asked if I could switch with his uncle on the other side of the plane, but he had a middle seat so I said no (I was willing to accommodate him if he had an aisle seat). Then this guy told a GulfAir employee that I wasn't willing to switch the seat that I paid for and the GulfAir employee laughed at me as if I was being difficult. Pretty shocking coming from the US where this would never happen. Will never fly them again.

I hope you try Kuwait Airways! It's great. And by far the best legroom and comfortable cabin in a narrow body. They are also bringing new aircrafts to their fleet. Kuwait is a country that is known for its rich financial reserves, but also a country that remains a unexplored GCC (Gulf ) country.

Great review. One of the reasons the airline provides this type of service regardless of flight length is because of its rich history. They have been around since the 1950's, flying back then was a complete luxurious and grand event. This airline reminds me of Pam Am. I am glad they have been able to sustain themselves for so long and didn't become bankrupt.

Gulf air is most unrelaibale carrier. they have lost my baggage with no help/counter on Heathrow airport. I will never ever travel with Gulf air.

I just arrived from FRA via BAH to BKK in Falcon Gold. Had a great experience although BAH-BKK was delayed by 11 hours. Still I was provided with a hotel room in BAH. Overall 4 flights in 2 weeks - all very ok! Greetings Frank

It is funny that I saw another reviewer, reviewing the same airline with 2 seperate reviews. Basically, it does not sell it to me, to be honest. Although I am not a frequent flyer but it is important for me who and how much and what I am paying for.

Those private huge seats look incredible, its like a private cave!

After one has applied for a substantial amount of credit cards (i have about 12 including a few black or 'Infinite' ones, thanks to me for having great credit), the options get scarcer and scarcer. How do you keep raking up enough miles to get flights once you've already got the credit cards and can no longer get the huge welcome point bonuses?

I lived in the Middle East for 13 years (mostly the nineties), during which Gulf Air was considered a sub-bar choice and one to avoid if possible. It was an older, more-established carrier like EgyptAir and MEA. I remember thinking at the time (Emirates and Qatar were beginning to surge) that Gulf Air would need to raise their game considerably if they were going to compete in the emerging Middle Eastern market. Watching your video, it appears that the airline has indeed raised their game. It's good to know that this is possible, and that there is hope for other mediocre airlines to move into the upper levels of customer service.

Especially with the special meals it doesn't get to the food delivery people operations within the airlines do not really send the orders when they do they do it at the last minute and the sky shift employees already have the food loaded and bring it to the airport on the cards I'm sorry that this has happened but I just want to share what really happens again love your videos

Hey my friend works for something called sky chef they deliver food to the airports and what happens is the airlines for the food delivery they never email them to the sky chef and with sky chef there are so many new employees working there and orders are getting messed up just thought you would like to know if you ever get a future order and it is wrong I love all your videos and I follow

Great video! Unfortunately, I saw it too late to take advantage of the Chase CC offer. Does anyone know if there's another CC option to earn miles on Gulf Air? According to their website, the only CC partner option they list is for Bahrain residents.

I might have been to quick to judge... Flying Business for work, to an from Asia, I just never concidered GulfAir. Reason: I thought it was a kind of budget air, even in business class. Nothing wrong with that in itself (you get what you pay for) but I am fuzzy when it comes to a work trip. No issues, no problems, no complications and everything works smoothly. That is my experience of all the main Middle Eastern carriers and some SE Asian carriers too (notably EvaAir and SingaporeAirLines) but after having seen your review of GolfAir here... perhaps it isnt budget-service.

To me, the personal service of having 'your own' attendent, as you missed on this flight, doesn't matter to me... as long as its efficiant. Also, I always ask for extra bread and your flight is the first I've seen them bringing a whole bread basket. Top marks! Privacy, also top marks! Open dining, again top marks. However (and I might be wrong here) but GolfAir STILL come across as a budget airline. I don't expect every Hub to be like Changi, or every lounge to be like Thai's Royal Orchid in Bangkok, but in all service and operations, GolfAir STILL come across as the IKEA of the skies... If you never flown in Business Class before, or only in European or American carriers premium cabins, you might be impressed by GolfAir... but not compared to Qatar or Emirates from the middle east, or Singapore, Eva or Thai in SE Asia. ...but that's just my opinion!
