I'm from the US and generally speaking people from the US are rather stupid. Unfortunately regarding Brazil anytime they think people speak Spanish there and they think that all that exists is Rio de janeiro. Do a slight amount of homework it's a humongous country with so much to offer.

It has one of the highest crime rates in the world, roughly 1 in 5 murders in the world happen in Brazil. There are sanitation problems in the rural areas. They lost 1-7 against Germany in the 2014 World Cup, an embarrassing defeat.

There's something trashy about Brazilians. Chile and Argentina are better, richer, and more respected

I am brazilian and I think that it is absolutely disgusting to start a video with the worst place in the country, a neighbourhood of a slum. I like slums, but they represent just 6% of the population. And it is not taken in a good way, but some sort of "fake news", sensationalism, that creates a ridiculous image of the country. Sad, very sad to see this kind of manipulation to disqualify the country.
