That “ when I get you home “ by Jackson might be the best arrangement song I’ve heard this year 🥶

It’s a win for JSU but the drum majors taking Jsettes spot and then the other drum majors did it too. JSU still trendsetters. 😂

5th quarter is becoming more of a standard part of "the show". Idk, the beef isnt there as much as when bands didnt plan for there to be 5ths, they just happened if they needed to.

Both of these bands sound like chaos

JSU for the very easy W. Here's why, MSV was not giving a full musical ensemble experience. The drum majors were out on the field hopping, skipping, and shooting 3's trying to call out the JSU Drum Majors. And yes, JSU DM got back in the stands. Valley your very beautiful Majorettes spent hours developing their 5th qtr routine and the Valley drum majors spent song after song distracting everyone from the hard work of their Majorettes. Attention hogs. There's nothing wrong with innovation, the 5th qtr is an HBCU innovation in itself. If you guys want to innovate after your practice go practice with the Majorettes and develop a unified routine. Let's not use gimmicks in lieu of musicianship and ensemble. DM you have the march in, March out, and the field show. Let your majorettes eat in the 5th quarter.And did I say the majorettes are very very beautiful! I saw them up close, WOW!!!

Both bands did great. Valley definateky stepped up pretty good. They are definately sum to watch now. JSU got them with the polish of the playbook along wirh hoe loud it was to match the playbook.

Vally band and the dance team definately gave some giod comoetion and a run for the money. This battle is very different then how valley did when they battled Alcorn

Just like a basketball player who can score 30 but the team still lose , jsu for the win . Jsu has the best balanced sound from all the other bands . DT is not a best this year but they are solid and compliment JSu arrangements well. Also if you have 16 tubas who have complex base lines versus 24 -27 tubas playing whole notes and quarter notes then of course they will be out blown

When JSU played that mint condition and return of the Mack it was over!! The slurs, the runs, the overall classical sound in the band just warmed my heart. Really makes me wish marching band season and shout out to y’all flutes I’m soooo glad I was able to hear y’all😂😂😂they always looking down on us like we can’t be heard and yall excelled nicely!!
