The way you tapped the power button and then blew on the power cord like a Nintendo cartridge. ROFL !!!
ОтветитьThis was my childhood.
ОтветитьFun fact my grandpa used to have similar computers from that era to windows xp. He even played some Microsoft solitaire on those computers. I even helped him win that and sudoku.
ОтветитьWould be cool put this in time capsule leave for long time show generation kids see what we used to have and play with games and media entertainment
ОтветитьYou know what ive found crazy is that, you needed to practically be a computer scientist to have a computer at one point. Now that same generation that could figure all this out on their own, has all they can do to figure out their iphone, which is infinitely easier than these old PCs
ОтветитьWhy no one talking about the pepto bismol in the corner
ОтветитьI noticed the very suspect file named as "Titanic.exe" on desktop 😅
Ответить"It runs windows 95"
Know what that means don't you? SIM CITY 2000!!!!
Just hate my laptop it wont start windows 10 sucks anyway wish i had my old windows xp pc i had back in the day
ОтветитьAhhhh the noise of the hard drive constantly skipping along and loading things. It's the little things in life
ОтветитьI'm gonna guess that you are an Aries.
ОтветитьI subbed to u when u got 700 subs
ОтветитьJeez and i thought my windows 98 machine was slow. It at least had a 8 gig drive and 128mb .. but at some point i maxed out the ram and overclocked it when i decided to put windows ME edition on. That thing actually zips along pretty good for what it is. .. my recent abomination is a "supposed to be xp" thats running windows 2000. Pentium 4 and 4 gigs of ram now that one zips pretty good. Idk it just seems like putting an older system on a newer machine that can still run it. You get a pretty snappy machine.
Ответитьwhy does it sound like you are chewing on ice cubes when you talk
Ответитьtry to turn this pc into a modern pc without replacing the motherboard and the case hehehehe u will probably have to hackintosh the pc tho cuz the windows system requirements for the newer pcs. try to upgrade the hard drive of this thing to an ssd lol
ОтветитьWow, this is a ViewSonic!
I used to have the same CRT display back in the days...
Lol showing my kids this hahaha ours was way slower as kids so funny they are so intrigued
ОтветитьI wish I could have a computer as old as this one and do dial-up. Closest PC I have, age-wise, is an old e-machines with a Celeron CPU and 128MB of RAM. One of these days I'll get dial-up for fun.
ОтветитьGigabyte and a half 🤣
ОтветитьAh, been a while since I've seen a floppy drive on a computer. Nice job with the power cord by the way 😂.
Ответитьthe lines are fixed with vhold. thats how all the old tvs and computer monitors worked
ОтветитьEllo, mr. yung microsoft sam!
ОтветитьVery John Wilson. Good video
ОтветитьWOW, you still have a landline in 2022 lol!
I remember WEBSHOTS, And it's still around too!
I liked AOL 6.0 better than 5.0! I started back in 2002 with AOL 6.0!
You not able to connect to aol due to the versions were shutdown back in 2017 because of aim
ОтветитьWhat's the graphics card?
ОтветитьStraight up thought that the AOL logo was ARK : Survival Evolved
ОтветитьI had a real Windows 95 at my former beach house in NJ in 2013-2014.
ОтветитьOh wow. I forgot about Webshots Desktop. Nice.
ОтветитьWindows 95 makes an excellent prison guard. Because it always locks up!
ОтветитьMy brain hurts as an avid tech, turbo was gone by PII era, refresh is changeable, dial up was never free and by the minute, turbo was a carry over from the 286 era for PC compatibility, damn it I’m not that old!
ОтветитьI remember 5.0 aol 😂😂. I started with 4.0 😅😂😂
ОтветитьI can hear the aspy in your voice
ОтветитьI'm 60. In 2009 or 10 I went to the home of a friend's parents to help take care of them. In an upstairs bedroom I discovered a Gateway PC, running Windows 98, and still turned on (no internet connection though). It was a complete PC outfit. It had the Gateway tower unit, the Gateway monitor, Gateway keyboard, and a Gateway mouse. There was also the quick start guide, whatever that would be called, plus the original manual and original receipt. Also a Gateway Country foam rubber promo cow. There was also a printer, which I think was an HP. The documents folder was empty except for 2 documents created in the year 2000. The whole thing was a time capsule. I should have rescued it when I had the chance. I'm sure that the man who later cleaned out their house, threw it all away. I have no doubt.
ОтветитьDidn't used win95 or 98 but I started with xp and broh I had an mobile phone as modem via usb, dial up, internet was costing much, so I was using wap, gprs speed 🙄😂😂😂 this kids 🥺 missed the real fun 😂
ОтветитьIt’s so slow 😂
Ответитьbro nice
job on geting 1.65k
I remember the only time to enjoy internet time was at night when the fam was sleeping. I’d wind up falling asleep at the computer desk😂
ОтветитьYou didnt try to smack it around a bit or grab the screen and shake like it owed u monnye. Pritty shure that would Have fixed most of the problems.
ОтветитьKeep the Case stick a 13900k and an rtx 4090 in it 😂
ОтветитьShit this reminds me of the first pc I built with my grandpa back in 98.
ОтветитьWhat’s with the display on the front of the PC tower? The one that says 75?
ОтветитьYea you cant just pug and unplug stuff like that on older rigs, the OS doesnt support it like todays
ОтветитьThis brings back so many memories of when I worked on a PC help desk back in the 90s. Proper technology when you needed to work hard to get things to work 😅
Ответитьlooks like my old Doom 2 and Quake 1 gaming rig
ОтветитьThis is helpful but you seriously don't know what you are doing
Ответитьthat's cool, i would really want it in 1995
ОтветитьMy Intel 486 is still runnin!😅
ОтветитьI still have 4 or 5 AOL free trial discs from when I was a kid well after AOL was getting phased out. I was one of the first kids in my school to get broadband and wifi so being able to have that as a kid saved me from the probable horror that dial up was. I used dial up when i was like 3 and that was really it
