Try adding an accu-wedge between the upper and lower in the rear…
ОтветитьMost reviews that I have seen with the MPX suppressed has been not so great that’s why I’m not dedicating a can for mine. My SP5K with an Omega 9k is far more impressive with the holes touching using 124 gr HST at 20 yards. Going to work on my SP5 next and I’m sure that will be do great but I want to try the HST 147 gr. Great video.
ОтветитьMounted my Obsidian with the Rearden taper mount
ОтветитьAnother thing to consider too is trying the different positions on the 3-lugs. Try rotating each suppressor apparently it does make a difference too
ОтветитьMPX gen 2, 8” will do better than the MP5. MPX-K is just expensive crap.
Ответитьawwwwwummmmmmmmm🤣
Ответить“So i brought out a couple of my three-lug hoes.”
ОтветитьWhere can I purchase the paper target at? Who makes the paper target?
ОтветитьWhich 147gr?
ОтветитьMay need to tighten the screws on the barrel of the mpx, for whatever reason, it's a well known and documented issue that somehow still comes from the factory out of spec, but once tightened, accuracy improves tremendously.
ОтветитьWhat we wanted to see was the poi shift with the 3 different mounting options on each can
ОтветитьThis may sound like over kill... but i presume the most accurate way is to be not resting the gun on the mag while shooting wind and elevation and even tilt... have a better rest for the gun and use a magnified optic.
ОтветитьI have a Gen 4 PX9 suppressed or unsuppressed it shoots roughly a 1-in hole with All rounds out of an extended mag with pretty much any 147gr ammo I throw in it using an obsidian 45 suppressor
115s are looser but nothing like you're seeing either of those high-end guns
Your 1st set of Supers in the B&T looked like key holing to me.
ОтветитьI bet you got a ILWT barrel! Most of his barrels are garbage and not accurate. Stick with a sig barrel and you will be fine.
Ответитьwhat if you are using a bixler style mount i think thundercans(curtis tactical) makes one
\
Did you have your Rex cerakoted? If so what color
ОтветитьI was starting to think this was a commercial for a Rugged Obsidian suppressor, lol. What optics are you running on those? The one on the MP5 looks like an Elcan or Aimpoint/MRO patrol. I recently purchased the MPX-K and submitted paper work for suppressor. I haven't shot it yet and hoping I didn't waste my money.
ОтветитьDo you have an affiliate link to that mat?
ОтветитьI will add that on your B&T you did not confirm if it was your first shot that went low and left. Not sure if you are aware but 1st shot through a supressor is well known to be different. Usually in relation to amplitude making it louder than normal, often stated due to more oxygen in the can internals and something you dont hear of as often anymore running a can "wet or dry" has to do with the physical internal volume. That MAY be something to look at.
ОтветитьDude good idea for a test but you should have set up a better rest and position since you are really testing your stability more than the cans. And yes I have done similar tests and also seen low and to the right shifts even with threaded .30 cal supressors on a bolt gun on a SOLID as a rock front and rear rests.
ОтветитьI’ve never shot a gun off bags with the magazine as a resting point
Ответитьi've watched a number of mpx videos in the last day or so and a common theme is how it shoots all over the place. has anyone figured out why and have they fixed the problem??
ОтветитьYeah, I gave up on three lug a while ago. B&T cans on SP5, but results weren't as bad as yours. Def suppressor-dependent as your Rugged did really well. Not a super accurate platform but man, these B&T cans are cheap for a reason.
ОтветитьA friend of mine has the same setup that you do, a PTR and a B&T can that has the EXACT same point of shift you experienced. When he asked me my opinion, I originally thought that it was likely the weight of the can or some sort of misalignment with a tri-lug. But after seeing this video, I now think it's more than likely a design issue. I'd be curious to see if other MP5 clones are also replicating the same point of shift as the PTRs with B&T cans.
ОтветитьI had similar results with a PSA px- 9 and a Griffin Optimus with 3lug adapter. My point of impact shift was 21 inches low and 9 inches right . I gave up on 3 lug and went to taper mount. I used the same 3 lug adapter on a CMMG 22lr with a Griffin 22m and had zero point of impact shift for all three lugs. Weird just weird
ОтветитьI am shocked at how poorly the MPX did on accuracy
ОтветитьThat’s weird I can’t believe that b&t can did that
ОтветитьB&T was like, "im tired."
ОтветитьDid you change the HG on your APC9 SD ? Because I thought yours was a Gen 1?
Ответить
