So why shouldn't I buy a BMW 3 series at the same price?

All German EVs have more cheap plastic than engine ones. So ugly and dull looking are all, because they try to save some money due to expensive batteries.

I'm going to be honest. Skodas have always been decent and sensible. But to my eyes, this Elroq is the VERY FIRST skoda that not only doesn't look boring af but is actually eye catching, interesting-looking and dare I say... Pretty...???!!!! I am quite shocked actually...

Just subscribed, I think you're the most straightforward, unbiased and honest content creator about cars on YT and you have a very gentle way to reveal unpractical things about the car 😂 I think what Elroq lacks is the uninspiring design and cost cutting ethos of the group, which is disguised as simplicity. We lose a lot of passenger seat space compared to an Enyaq yet the price is still c. Eur 50-55k with the higher trims. Every simple & useful feature has been removed from the car and passed on to consumer.

Elroq or Kia EV3?

I am delighted. They really did an amazing job. This will sell like hot cakes, at least to those who like and want electrics.

It looks a lot bigger than EX30 no? The Kia EV3 I get but EX30 is a smaller car than this I believe? (Haven't seen Elroq IRL yet) .. that being said.. If those prices stick, it also blows EX30 out of the water. In my opinion they went too hard on EX30, removing neccessary things and cost cutting for example the audio system.. the soundbar does NOT feel good at all. It's good for those who just have radio on all the time they drive.. but people who like music, as in their own music and not people blabla on radio between music 24/7 ... the audiosystem is lacking big time. I'm looking forward to testing this Elroq.. would be a nice 2nd car pick up it feels like.

Why are they removing all the Skoda signs? Hopefully it’s only for the electric cars to have a difference to the usual petrol or diesel.

The car is good with nice design but the console is too poor and too simple with bad design

If VAG doesn't make this car a success it will be a part of the swansong in Wolfsburg. So far it seems 10-20% to expensive in high trim editions.

The interior matrrials look extra cheap.
Probably to peel the price and compensate for the EV. Its disappointing that on the outside they invested in looks. Practicality might be okay but looks like a toy car plastics and fabrics.

Enyaq and looks like also this had one big flaw for tall driver that rear mirror is blocking view very well. Really often you need to peek below mirror to see everything you want.

Another total failure from VAG. But they don't seem to care.

why are the instrument cluster so small in VW products (Audi exception)?? Does all that drive EV have Eagle eyesight compared to all that drives other cars? or whats the deal with that?? And having info shown in the windscreen can be done also on non EV cars so...Just a curios question...

Thats a good looking car, if they made the kodiaq look like that it would sell like hotcakes. the current gen kodiaq is dull looking compared to the old model

why are you insisting on your reviews on steering wheel not from leather.
the feeling when you hold it is not good you sweat all the time . when you hold leather steering wheel the feeling is better , luxcirius and has longer longevity.

Bit mystified as to why Skoda took so long to bring out what is essentially a shortened version of the Enyaq.

Smaller less "expensive" EV is always welcome of course.

Which is why I look forward to the arrival of the Epiq, which apparently will have a bigger boot at 490 litres? than the Elroq.

Would it be fair to say this is Skoda's version of the ID3 finally arrived?

Why do european EVs not have a frunk built in as standard? Such as useful place to store cables rather than under floor of fully loaded rear boot.

The KIA EV3 will make an interesting competitor for the Elroq.

I already have an Enyaq, and I’m a little disappointed that Skoda has simply used the 4year old enyaq interior in this new car. Yes they have updated the materials in the seats and the centre boss of the steering wheel, but the interior is 4 years old now. Other makers have moved the game on and can I just say, those cup holders are useless.they can only hold a 330ml can. Not even a takeaway coffee will fit.

What a "great" plastic car. You can find much better cars in this segment, such as the Zeekr 7x, the Onvo L60 ...

VAGs woes won’t be helped by this beige grey dull EV . I reckon VW will sell Skoda to the Chinese along with Audi

Interesting how they did not move the PRND shifter to the steering wheel, nice! Hopefully they stop moving them to the steering and have it like this in other new models, and maybe in Kodiaq facelift.
