Haben Sie das wegklappbare hintere Fenster später weggespart? Tolle Farb-/Polsterkombination. Und das Design im Musclecar-Stil aber mit erkennbar französischer Note. Selbst die Sitze sind eine Skulptur. 70er Jahre pur! Aber vermutlich geriet das Design damals schnell aus der Mode. Der Designsprung zum Fuego ist groß!

Ich finde den kurzen Radstand optisch unschön.

Beim Anblick dieser außerordentlichen Schönheit wird mir wieder klar, warum ich moderne Fahrzeuge nicht mag.

Ich habe 1980 meine Lehre als Kfz Mechaniker in einem Renault autohaus gemacht, die Technik war immer gut, aber man konnte zusehen wie die Wagen weg rosteten

Sehr schönes Coupe. Leider haben wenige davon überlebt. Der Rost war ein großes Thema.

Eines der letzten Hardtop-Coupés mit versenkbarer B-Säule in dieser Klasse. Heute scheint sich Sportlichkeit nur noch in einer bis zum Kinn hochgezogenen Fensterlinie und A- und B-Säulen, dick wie die Oberarme vom WWE-Wrestler auszudrücken.

we bombed all over the place with it- went to Seattle fro Vancouver-- pretty fast

i had a car like this for maybe 6 monthes but the seats were taller like a renault 5 mkI i had ,i think it was the TS ,both of them ,i had also a 16TS, the renault 5 was kind of funny the gages were a litle square where one couldn´t almost see the velocity and the TS had a extra litle square for the R.p.m COUNTER(sorry, the caps lock). One looking to this car makes a lot of memories come to my mind i almost can smell the pines before the beach with a girlfriend i had at the time, it could be very hot but under the trees was fresh and one could feel the wind coming from the atlantic ocean, nice memories i have with this Renault, that´s when cars had diferent models i was remenbering the dash of this car having a strange sportive look and it was original , i would never buy today a good renault clio but when i saw a all black renault 5 TS i had to buy it, later in the 80´s i bought the turbo ,only available in red and metalic blue with alpine alloy wheels, today almost all cars look the same at least in their range, this cars i bought them because i really liked them ,i had better cars at home but couldn´t avoid buying this till i get tired of them and sell it with profit. I had in 72 a renault Alpine in blue, a Dino in white, i wanted the yellow because i had seen in a magazine Miles Davis with one(the one they call now a Ferrari) and a lotus Europa (brown) with a saying on the backside for it´s championship in F1(now i can´t enter on it) ,but i due to diferent design one would buy others just to drove them for a while, Today i couldn´t buy a BMW but i have 7 at home all from the 70´s because they look very good, not comparable with today´s cars in every sense but powerfull

La rouille a l epoque etait sur tout les modèles mais allemand

My first car, in 1989, was the sister car Renault 15 TS, 1973. It had suffered an engine failure and was renovated by a friend to the familty that was Renault enthusiast, and I got to buy it really cheap (about 17500SEK or 1500€ in todays money) . It was in mint condition when I got it. Entire car stripped down and rebuilt, with new liners and new paint. Also it was super rare. So rare that there was a club just for R15 and R17 owners in Sweden. And it was 100% rust free, including the fenders which fellow club members was quick to point out and offer money for.

Looking back, I mistreated that car so much it hurts thinking of it. I moved the battery to the back (like a ralley car!), with some probably-not-so-minor damage to the interior, installed some bass heavy sound system, painted the lower side parts and the rear bumper black with of-the-shelf can-spray, forced on a used Momo steering wheel with a sledge hammer since the splines was wrong, and whatever else I've blissfully forgotten about. It's a wonder I didn't crash it as well since I drove around on utterly worn summer tires in the Swedish winter. When I finally sold it, it was a shade of it's former self.

Lesson from this is: Never give an 18'yr old a car that's not expendable, like rare 70's Renaults.

En 1976 millésime 1977 la R17 était équipée ded sieges pétales comme sur les Alpine A310.

Die offenbare Dreieckscheibe gab es nun bis Baujahr 1972. Mein R1323 von 1972 hat sie, mein R1323 von 1973 hat sie nicht mehr.
