Does anyone deliver on a motorcycle? I tried my first day today and kept getting orders with drinks. Is there a filter for that or does anyone know a good way to deliver on a motorcycle? My first order spilled in my backpack and I tried customer service to try to get orders with no drinks but they’re from another country and don’t understand my question. Also the app drained my iPhone 14 pro battery almost all the way down in about 2 hours. Anyone know a solution to either of these?

I have been working as an ubereats driver for 6 years now and this app still has so many issues to resolve. Still no one cares. The best option is to become an uber app developer. You will have no fear of screwing it up between so many losers. Dream job you get paid for a lot I assume.

I had my account flagged for too many 'cancellations'.
I don't cancel unless there is no other option.
The day before I had an incomplete address, no house/apartment number, no response to my messages or phone call. I had 2 options - 'contact customer' which just takes me to a screen showing my messages with no response - and 'cancel delivery' with no instructions on what to do.
The only other time the delivery cancelled after i had the food was by the customer whilst waiting for food for another customer.
Ironically, a day or 2 before my last cancellation i made a complaint to uber for not notifying me of a cancelled order i travelled 6 miles for, 12 miles in total to cover the distance in the opposite direction. I arrived at the place with no orders in my app - i was pretty disgusted by that, ubers response, and how painful it was to contact them as they were 'pririotising drivers with orders'. I had no order because they cancelled it. They even phoned me to confirm i was going to travel there considering the long distance (i was travelling to the pickup on a long road with no other options to turn around). To top it off traffic was pretty bad.
I'm fed up with both uber and deliveroo either not communicating distance and time clearly and no options to filter out terrible journeys they under pay you for, or even weight which was problematic when I was cycling with the weight on my back.
It's illegal to look at your phone driving so i tend to accept requests without looking. The idea that they give you enough time to safely pull over is false, let alone the time it would take to properly review a request. Imagine pulling over and not being able to pull out because of traffic to review a request that was appauling or timed out by the time you could review it.

Do I ago hang out at the hot spots in the beginning?

I'd like to know if there is anyway to know if you are going to deliver to an apartment before accepting the order. I'm ok with doing a few during the day but at night I want no part of them. Bad numbering at most complexes.

New uber eats driver; when I navigate to the gray house icon on the map through the Uber app it wont let me finish the navigation when I get there. It says “drive to the pin” but the pin is inside the restaurant and it wont register.
Does this matter?

In the city where I live, if you can get the address in with the delivered food photo, good luck to you! Almost every house has the address on the right side of the garage or gate with the entry way to the front door in the opposite manner, pain in the butt, lol~ Pretty informative video, wish I had seen it before I made my first delivery with UE recently since after I picked up the order it took me a while to figure out how to get to the customer & their address lol. I am good now though~

Great video, have watched this twice. Only been driving for two weeks and today I accidently hit "complete delivery" which took me to "take photo". Unfortunately I could not remember the suite number (it was an office building and it was the third dropoff of a Walmart order) and I could not figure out a way to go back to get the suite number or call/text the customer.

Today is my worst day as an uber eats delivery. I had to wait longer than I expected at tim hortons. And these workers are lazy asf and put those coffee from tim bits box I only found out when got spilled and complained bout them in Uber support. What happend was that these customers gave me 2 thumbs down which affects by unlocking the gold rewards now im at 80% satisfaction rate used to be 100%. It sucks but it is what it is. Do I still get my $400 after completing 120 deliveries eventho I have low rating? now

Thank you for doing this! I'm on day two and just 8 deliveries on a scooter/bike. I'd love to hear your opinion on how denying orders can affect/benefit a person. Despite Uber acknowledging my mode of transport, I get orders that are 3 miles away and then 1 mile beyond that. I got my A$$ kicked by hurrying to accept one. It's my fault for not respecting the time expected (Learning is FUN!) I took it in desperation after not accepting 3 in a row. Do you think they care? Can I deny stuff for an hour waiting for one near my home without repercussions? I appreciate you and your efforts.

Is there a way to reduce data usage or should I use my car GPS (which I already pay for) as an alternative? I would love to hear your thoughts on phone data management.

Working for Uber eats is BS. I was a food delivery driver from 2014-2019, and I used to make $25-30 /hr easily. I am now doing FLEX and usually make $30-35 per hour. Today I tried to deliver for Uber and could only make $62 for 4 hours delivery even though it was during Friday afternoon-rush time. Totally BS.

Nothing is popping up for me. I have an account. It says I’m ready to take trips. I’m online. Still nothing is popping up for my area. To I look in other areas and nothing is popping up

I sign up for Uber eats, everything seem okay first few weeks. then all of sudden i try to cash out option
To my debit card , i found uber had taken all my banking info off. i try to the info back on to cash out,
Would not let me.when i did try to every time a window pop up saying verify by my driver's license.
When i did it would state there is no account associated with this license , i was like WTF, so i called
support told them the problem " they have the worst support every make doordash look like a the best there ever was, so i went though every step with them telling uninstall, logout, then i talk to tech support same thing, then i talk to uber green light hub thinking okay they going to fix it, NO same thing, and worst everyone you talk to is overseas with loud noise in background can't hear what they saying on top of their accent. there is no USA customer service And i been going though this for almost a month now..And they send me the same messages or when i call ask me the same questions. and they have all the records there of what i have been going though. this was my main job since i was laid off some months back.they still have my money and every time they say okay you should be able to cash out, because i was finally able to add my debit card back -NO ALL I GET IS A MESSAGE "OUT SYSTEM IS EXPERIENCE ERROR TRY BACK IN FEW MINUTES" Then there is the payout date where the earnings suppose to transfer your payout to your card or bank, No my earnings was still in uber , it just said next payout still nothing. i'm beyond pissed it's like they trying to keep my money , a few times i called and they hung up on me, Are they trying to keep my money to split up where they work at in India ?as unclaimed money? why i can't speak to someone who will once and for all fix this, they keep passing me back and forth or to other supervisors. no help. is anyone out there going though same thing ? please let me let's get together and file a claim PLEASE I'm thinking of doing a video on this..

The initial "tip" is more akin to a bid for their offer's acceptance. If you accept a contract for specific amount, complete it, but the customer reduces or doesnt pay that amount, that is theft and breach of contract. However, if they increase it, yeah, that would be an extra tip apart from the agreed upon amount, and definitely thank them for that. I recommend getting screenshots of orders when accepting them, as a just in case so you dont get shafted.

Question…. Fist of all, I’m new to Uber eats, and I’m from the Victorville, Ca area. I watched your video and followed along on my Uber app. I clicked on “help”, then clicked “a guide to driving and delivering”, then clicked “receiving request”, but the only option in that window was “what is uberX share.” My question is, does that mean Uber eats is not available in my area or do I have to wait till all my background, license, insurance info is approved?

If are left waiting for 7 minutes for the customer to grab their order, are you paid for that waiting time? Or are you accepting the listed delivery price with the expectation that this issue could occur?
