You obviously know your windows. I can't find a video that tells me how to troubleshoot my 2005 toyota tundra rear window. I can hear the motor clicking when i hit the switch but it won't go down. I'm not very mechanically inclined, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

regulator connect battery up the same way and see if it moves if not its that at fault

My dsw is stuck down. Switches are good, all other windows work. Fuse box said P/W 30A, there is no fuse in this slot nor a 30 a anywhere..how is this possible?

Doesnt a windows switch has 2 options? Up and down? If down does not work, is it the same principle?

Isn't there a way to tell if it's the fuse vs switch vs relay quicker than checking the fuse? If the window goes up with the switch, but not down, it's not going to be the fuse, it's going to be the switch. If the window doesn't go up or down, it's likely the relay or the fuse.

Also, there would be a troubleshooting step in whether the master window switch works vs the switch on the door itself. Often if one doesn't work the other does and that would indicate whether the problem is in the master switch or the door switch.

I can NOT figure out which fuse is for the power windows of 2020 Nissan Altima. I’ve checked multiple place and panel isn’t using the same terminology unfortunately

I bought a 2004 GMC envoy, checked all the windows and they all worked great. Very strong quiet motors, all windows went up and down very well, but I drove it home for the first time, pulled into the drive, put all windows up, and turned truck off. Then before we even got out, my wife remembered we needed to run to Walmart, so I immediately turned the vehicle back on and tried to roll the windows back down, especially the back windows because we have, at the time, a 1 year old and a 6 year old in the back seats, and it was beginning of summer. But all of sudden neither back window worked. I have checked all fuses, checked the relays, and even tested the master switch in the driver door, but nothing was blown or broken, and the master switch works but I can't figure out why both back windows stopped working at the same time for no reason. Even my mechanic can't figure it out.
Please, please help me in any way you can. I have tried everything and have to do some many repairs on this vehicle but 3 things are unexplainable. My 4 wheel drive, my air conditioner, and most importantly the rear windows.
I really need this to work again. I know the motors didn't go out without warning and at the same time. I live in Michigan City, right on lake Michigan, and in the summer, it gets very hot and extremely humid, and we can't put the kids in it for long because I gets so hot back there.
Please help if you can. I'm out of ideas and nerves

Here's a good one: ran your tests and discovered that there is no current at fuse! (fuse ok) Ran 12v through fuse (load side) receptacle and everything works.

Ive been trying to locate this mysterious relay as the fuse for the power windows are fine. 2 different fuses control the front and the back. I have a 2011 Buick Lacrosse. No where in the manual does it say there are any other locations for fuses and relays other than the area under driver side like your showing, under the hood and in the trunk. Would there be more relays elsewhere if anyone knows? Ive checked to see if there are any breaks in the wires, i've tested 2 new switches and I've removed the door panel to see what was going on under there. I did a battery disconnect to see if the system would reset and they actually started to work again so my guess is there is a short somewhere. Checked between door and the frame and shook the wires. Anyways next day it wasnt working again. This is the drivers master power window switch that controls the other doors as well and im not getting any power. The other windows work fine. Ive had no problem with windows going up or down or any noises from motor. I just got in one morning and there was no power to switches. Stumped!! ( There is power to switch from red wire) other wires not getting any power using test light)

I don’t think this method worked for testing my drivers side window switch. Before doing a lot of work to go into the door frame and change out the motor, I tried this method. There wasn’t a pin on the connector I could find where the switch actuated and pressing it actually changed continuity. I went ahead and bought a new switch plugged it in, window still didn’t work. Testing it I got the same result as the first one. I think this process might not work for all car models. I have an 06 Subaru STi

Changed relay, having an issue where both switches cause the dome light to go off and the auto down switch relay to click. Lost and can't find any info on it.

My driver window switch stopped working and cant find a replacement OEM switch so I bought a universal switch and relocate it to next to mirror switch on dashboard and used some old speaker wire that I had laying around but now the motor only clicks wanting to go up or down but when I connect the motor straight to power with the factory wires it goes up and when I the wires it goes down, so could it be that the wire that I used is too thin

Like the video buy you do not check the other circuits

Continuity tests are a good start , but a circuit can pass this test and still not be able to carry enough current (amps) to perform the task.

Hi I have a question I have a 2013 Lincoln MKT sometimes the front passenger door switch doesn’t work and sometimes it does sometimes the front driver master switch for that right passenger door doesn’t work and sometimes it does
