I remember when this came out back in the day and how polarizing it was. Some people loved it and praised the creators for making another masterpiece, and others said it was “character assassination” and “one of the cringiest things in the fandom”.

Personally, I was never a huge fan of Derpy, and I found the fandom’s need to make her obsessed with muffins after saying one line in the background a bit contrived and forced. Nowadays, I can appreciate the effort that went into this as well as the other Epic Meal Time parodies they did.
