Iraq had no WMDs.
Weapons of Mass Destruction, WMDs.
Gas and chemical weapons are an element of WMDs.
Everybody forgets or chooses not remember the use of chemical and biological weapons that were used to kill Kurds, entire villages, men, women, children, goats, and dogs laying in the streets and houses covered in chemical burns, orange colored powered covering the ground and the bodies.
CNN Headline News , ABC, CBS, NBC, and every international news organizations had reporters on scene showing the Iraq military shelling the Kurds, showed the dead, showed the burns on the bodies repeatedly day after day for weeks.
Then we all pretend that we didn't see that??
What about the testimony of the Iraqi Air Force Leader , Vice Air Marshal General Sada, who testified before the UN and the US , both Houses that They did have WMDs, how they hid them and where they were.
He even went on to write a book on it with pictures trying to get the leaders of the world to do something, because as he put it
The weapons are out there and now in the hands of radical countries in the Middle East.
If the author ignores the evidence to hold to the line, Iraq had no WMDs what else is he ignoring or lying about.
To me the author is no better than those he throws stones at.
