I visited Cal Anderson last Tuesday for my birthday. And Volunteer Park. Spent most of the day in that area.
Hey, SquidTips, I just discovered your channel. I love what you are doing. We are similar. If you ever need help with anything, or need a bodyguard, or just wanna go bowling then I am around.
I have experience in protesting, drop-in centers, and DEI. I have five years of college in visual communications, music, and audio engineering. I am also a tall dude who has had enough shit, who has learned to stand up for himself, and stand up for others. I have no problem getting confrontational, and no problem protecting those in need.
We can outnumber the cops
ОтветитьFDT and the white Christian Nationalist POS !
ОтветитьDont forget to take your PREP bro 😂
Ответитьme and my friends were figuring out where to go for vacation in August. We go somewhere in June, July, and August every summer. Im thinking we will go to Seattle around the end of August!
ОтветитьThe local governments need to be schooled on who these groups are and how they gaslight the communities they are coming to troll
ОтветитьOmg these people are CLOWNS
I'm so glad you were there!💚
i'm from olympia, but i've gone up to seattle twice now since march, for concerts. both times i've seen a handful of guys walking around the crowds with christian signs and megaphones shouting about how gay people are bad. they're everywhere, it's really weird
ОтветитьAn important note re: "Christians are not welcome in Seattle" propaganda from Laura Ingraham--there are two churches literally across the street from Cal Anderson Park. Across the fucking street, within direct view of the first event. Christians are welcome in Seattle, bigots aren't. Keep up the good work. This is our city, not theirs. We don't owe these bigots a god damn thing and we have the right to protect ourselves and our community.
ОтветитьIt made me giggle to hear a petulant child say, 'petulant child'!! Cry me a sad little river. Hate hidden behind a message of love is just that, Hate. These red hats are consumed by fear, so Hate is their default mode.
ОтветитьThose cops are going to be real upset when they turn gay from all the gay people about.
ОтветитьUgh. I live here and knew right away it was some BS out-of-state propaganda campaign fishing for violence. Christians who live here are respectful - especially respectful enough to not put on an anti-trans rally in CAPITOL HILL. The gayest neighborhood in the city & one of the gayest in the country.
To me it was so obvious some jerks just wanted a riot to promote their agenda.
Edit: glad it’s equally obvious to everyone else. They probably asked for Pikes places just to say this was a “second pick”.
My partner saw yall riding around. Thanks for everything, amazing job organizing.
My theory - the balloon was provided by the event AS the trigger codeword for the police attack
ОтветитьThe white house is IN my city :(
You're the best man, please keep it up. You give me some hope.
“i’m not trying to be antagonized” right after yelling at somebody is so quintessentially cis white woman behavior
ОтветитьAnytime anyone asks me if I've seen "some asmongold video" my instant reaction is he's a mouth-breather. That was before I even know he was a slag pro-fascist. Literally the most brainrot 0 thought content on the entire internet. I would sooner eat glass than pretend to enjoy anything asmongold "creates." (hint, he doesn't create shit, he just drools at content with his mouth hanging open in the trash dump of his room.
ОтветитьSmh @ the folks feeling threatened by a few free stickers 🤦 Pretty sure Jesus is thrilled about free stickers, not so thrilled about a bunch of authoritarian jerks using his name to try to justify being authoritarian jerks.
(And Jesus definitely loves trans rights 🏳️⚧️💖. Idk how people get this so twisted...)
Workers and poor need help, need to rise up, and need to eat the rich.
ОтветитьVery correct: these horrible fascist homophobes provide templates for other fascist homophobes
ОтветитьI need to add something to the explanation near the beginning about fascism. I know the groups mentioned in criterion 2 weren't meant to be exhaustive, but you skipped a group that both the Nazis and MAGA focus(ed) on. The disabled. With a lot of that focus hitting the autistic community. The only reason I feel the need to mention this is that both share this focus, and that the everyday person out there (no matter what part of the political spectrum) seems to be more okay with oppressing the disabled. But they are some of the first to hit the gas chambers, and are now in the sights of RFK Jr for eradication. ANY oppression is not okay, but we tend to get overlooked.
ОтветитьThanks for all of the great work you’re doing. I wish you all the best 🫡
Ответитьwas at this protest. These same neofasc 1st amendment grandstanders are all for the outlawing of pro Palestinian speech on college campuses or in the USA in general- they love using congress to shut down free speech they don't like, censure/accuse Rashida Talib of anti Semitism while many of them pedal anti Semitic conspiracy and praise or approve of the Charlottesville VA nazi anti Jewish rally in 2017 and their schtick about protecting children doesn't seem to extend to children being shredded/burned/starved etc. in Gaza or cutting food/healthcare assistance to children in the US. They love accusing LGBT of grooming children w/out evidence yet happy to ignore Christian church pedos/groomers/sex offenders/rapists.
ОтветитьI was there and didn't know it was there ahead of time so was only there for a bit of time and was def a bit rowdy. Would've been there longer had i known it was going on
ОтветитьThe ironic thing? The system and institution that is Christianity is driving social problems and violence. Christian gender roles hurt women and the non-conforming. Christianity is racist - the tale of the Good Samaritan is LITERALLY "He's one of the good ones!" Christian doctrine and culture is innately anti-intellectual, and at odds with liberal governance and society.
Basically, when a Christian says, "They want us all gone", it's a genuine fear, in part because of their persecution complex, but also because I think we all know on some level Christianity is doing more harm than good.
Ugh, I just love you so much, AJ. Using every bit of your privilege to speak out for those who have none. We appreciate you 🩷
ОтветитьWhere can a brother get some of those gay motorcycle stickers? Asking so I can stick it to all the conservatives who nod at my big bike.
ОтветитьYou are doing a lot of hard work. Genuine respect. Keep doing the work that their God would actually respect
ОтветитьI'm pretty tired of peaceful protests
ОтветитьDamn, I didn't even know that I was a "Big Carl", or at least an off-brand Big Carl, until now...
ОтветитьReligion was taught in schools many years ago to show children from troubled homes a alternative life style! The love of Jesus gave them hope for a brighter future and they taught future generations to be good citizens! The police force during this period in American history carried night sticks not guns! The police spent most of their time dealing with drunk men causing chaos! This led to a ban on alcohol in America! The liberals eventually took over the schools and taught the children they came from apes! America now has major problems with abusive parents, abusive authority figures, drug addicts, thieves, killers, child molesters, and undisciplined people with nasty attitudes that are destroying America's economy! This is why Muslim and Asian cultures are so strict! Many Americans are so out of control that they will either fall to a dictator or allow Jesus to rule their lives! Every person on earth is ruled by some type of government! With or without mercy all humans will be governed! The police are not equipped to handle massive moral decay! America needs a penal colony for young offenders! A place where they build the village from the ground up! This will teach team work and give them a good kind of pride! Religious classes will teach them how to be a positive light in the world! Americans have been through many great struggles trying to right wrongs but when they took religion out of schools they created chaos in society! The American leaders provided for their citizens physical needs but neglected their people's spiritual needs! Without spiritual depth Americans lack the ability to be thankful for all the blessings God has bestowed on them! Without the guidance of their Lord and Savior they will remain destructive and defiant and eventually people in their country will get tired of cleaning up their messes and turn them over to a dictator!🙏🫂💙
ОтветитьShout out to Dick's burgers where the slogan is "Dick's is delicious!"
ОтветитьI have gone inside the Pursuit branch that took over the Overlake Christian/churchome building in Kirkland multiple times. On Sunday morning, there are typically two police cars parked outside and a pair of officers standing in the lobby. I was wondering if Kirkland was providing them, however on the OpenMHZ website that has police scanner recordings, around 9am you will hear officers signing off to do this as a privately paid thing. At their Pursuit MRKT event (which seems to be a separate entity for tax purposes), Russell Johnson was really proud of his appearance on Laura Ingraham and he plaid the clip from Fox news and bragged of connections to the White House. He really does have people in there emailing him stuff. He said there is a congressman who watches all his sermons.. He said he is inviting Paula White to Pursuit in August. She is Trump's charismatic/prosperity gospel preacher and she has an actual office in the White House and reviews Trump's decisions. It is sort of funny how Johnson actually was making critical remarks of Trump, saying he doesn't think he is truly a christian and thinks he is just trying to find a way to monetize with Paula's TV audience. The event had Brian Houston of Hillsong (which is like a chain of megachurches, that had some child abuse scandals). They were talking about running churches like a business, and Houston might be the best example of this
ОтветитьNon-violence, Joy, & fighting words with words & having the better argument - those are the best methods for sure.
ОтветитьIn a red state myself. I’ve tried to get my friends to do something, but the apathy is just… overwhelming. I have a social circle but I’m still alone somehow
ОтветитьI really like your content and I just wanted to say that I recommend reading the black TransFeminist materialists.
ОтветитьI am now trying to figure out how to make city hall comments
ОтветитьI know you don't carry when protesting/countering/doing security, but I do hope you have some sort of piece. Fascists cannot be fought with words alone, especially when they come after us with their own weapons drawn.
ОтветитьDoing activities like playing music, dancing, doing art, holding a speach, sharing stickers is a great idea.
It is very hard to make a video saying "look at these violent woke leftists" when all they are doing is painting each others faces and singing. Or doing silly TikTok dances. Or playing some fun games together.
And if the left on the same time can record and show rightwing people coming in and ruining that fun or spoiling the mood. That will start doing some damage.
Let the world see what lengths rightwing influencers go to in order to get reactions. But don't give it to them. If some one like Choe comes around and asks questions ignore him, just have your fun. Let him be the meme with the guy yelling at people to stop having fun.
Results are he gets no content for his platform while you get lots of content of him being annoying.
These fascist calling themselves Christians wouldn't recognize Jesus. They completely made the teachings into their own propaganda... I wonder if this has been done before... oh wait... check out Germany...
ОтветитьI appreciate you shining a light on this shit. I feel like Washington is like the last refuge for good people suddenly scapegoated out of convenience and its disgusting. I haven't been to Seattle to just wander (I like to explore) in over a year, I came thru recently briefly to goto Lake City Center to get my new ebike (I got a rebate voucher) and I rode back to Roosevelt Station and took the train all the way back to Lakewood. I spent a lot of time in Seattle whenever I first got here and I love it. I'm from the midwest/Bible belt, I felt like I finally escaped a lot of madness moving here, I love the Seattle/Tacoma area the way it is!
