Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat video, really appreciate this, I have been living in Greater London for 15 years now but didn’t know about this (feeling little guilty). Will definitely try, thanks again.
ОтветитьBeen to all except the Mayfair one and the small rope walk one, may have to check them out. Apparently London fields has great saturday ones and when i lived in London way back 2004-2009 i lived on the high st of Walthamstow which had amazing cheap grocery markets with cockney blokes yelling 'pound a bowl' from 6am. Of course the area is gentrified like most of London now so may not quite be as authentic and probably more like £5 a bowl these days.
ОтветитьNice review and a couple I hadn't heard of but will explore. I am a Londoner who now lives in Yorkshire but work near Liverpool St a few days each month.
Spitalfields is a good call, bustling at a lunchtime and expect big queues for the popular places. Petticoat Lane has some great food stalls too and minutes away from there. The falafel stall, one of three, at the end with the longest queue is well recommended. Spitalfields comes alive late morning and is very quiet from 4pm.
We always pay a visit to Portabello Road as there's a bit to see other than the food stalls, some shops and quirky pubs. Camden used to be a favourite but less so in recent years as it's become more commercialised. I remember visits to Prince's shop and having a drink in the café upstairs. I remember the old Camden, pre-market fire and I guess it doesn't have the same allure any more. Still worth a visit for anyone new and will keep people busy for hours.
Borough market is well worth a visit too. We often take a walk along the south bank, cross at Southwark bridge or the bendy bridge and then walk through past the Clink etc onto Borough market. Depending when you go a lot of stalls will close quite early but there will still be places to be found. Nice to finish off with a gelato at Gelateria 3BIS, amazing.
Don't write in front of video. We can't see your video. It is very irritating.
ОтветитьArepas are also Colombian.
ОтветитьTaste good 😊
ОтветитьI just found your channel and I'm hooked! My daughter and I are crossing the Pond in September and your content has played a huge part in the planning of our trip to London. We plan to visit Bath and York, also.
ОтветитьAlso loved the way you talked about Surfshark 😂 it worked 👍🏼
ОтветитьGreat guide! Thank you!
ОтветитьDoes Monkey include a map to the churches? Spital Fields is so Trump!
ОтветитьBy far the best food market in London is Leather Lane, but its only open on weekdays for the workers. Also petticoat lane is an honourable mention
ОтветитьAll overpriced and supplying crap food.
ОтветитьI cannot wait to visit some of these markets on my visit in June-July. thank you
ОтветитьThis makes me miss London so much...
ОтветитьI had the span of one week to explore London's markets - and I did not get a third of your suggestions. The pop-up markets are closing at late afternoon and if you have schedules because of pre-booked attractions, you won't be able to get a taste of all of them. But it's still fun and fascinating what's on all these markets.
Ответитьi need to get visiting some of these ..next stop Portobello and Camden
ОтветитьEs triste ver como convirtieron las iglesias católicas en museos 😢
Ответитьi am always ready to go to new places try food there and sharing my reviews on my channel so thank you for this amazing video
ОтветитьCan't wait to travel to London
ОтветитьSarap ng meryenda nila
ОтветитьEveryone's just copying others
ОтветитьI've spotted the difference between the man on the left from the one on the right. According to his subtitles he is using Surkshark while the one on the right is protected by Surfshark. Feel strangely hungry now after watching that.
ОтветитьBrilliant as always
Thanks
Nice.
ОтветитьAll these markets sound amazing! I will review your video when my husband and I finally make it there this summer 😊
ОтветитьWe’ll be in London on Jan 21st, this is absolutely helpful
Thanks a lot!!!
Fantastic video! This is the type of content I look for when planning my travel. The lesser known jewels! Love your channel and enjoy your wit! Thank you!
ОтветитьI love the food markets! Can't wait to go to London and try them out .
ОтветитьLoved it! You made me sooo HUNGRY!!!🤭🤭🤭
ОтветитьThank you so much, mate.
ОтветитьLondon marketing place on top 5 in the side
ОтветитьCan you do a London video for those of us who travel in the winter, a more budget friendly and less crowded time of year. Thanks
ОтветитьAfter 20 days in London, having visited numerous food markets , I can sadly conclude that food markets are not the place to get good food for me.
1) Too crowded. Not enough seating. In some markets you even have to stand and eat. I can't enjoy my food this way.
2) Food is often mediocre because of limited workspace in the kitchen, and the volume of customers. I think amateurs are often the ones making the food.
3) Overpriced for the mediocre quality. A dish can cost like 10 pounds. I'd rather eat it in a proper restaurant, or just order takeaway.
Wow London looks so gorgeous
ОтветитьWell, that was certainly food for thought. Sorry couldn't resist it. Not been to London for a long time but that's made me decide to visit soon. Great job.
ОтветитьBrilliant Video!
Ответить😊Absolutely fantastic and perfect💖 Thank you my friend for uploading this beautiful video👍💕👌
ОтветитьGosh! This is very good. Just shown part of London that I have not seen. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhere. How. Do we book
ОтветитьTooting and Brixton also have good markets
ОтветитьOne of the best London food vlogs…brilliant
ОтветитьIs it open 🧠☀️🏫☕
ОтветитьI wish I could 'like' this video a second time. Fantastic information! We're visiting the UK very soon and have incorporated several of the markets in this video into our itinerary. Cheers!
