Brass IS A HARD MATERIAL. its harder than stainless and its why they use it to make scuba cylinder valves and regulators.

As always, great content with superb analysis. Have you gotten your hands on diamondback nozzles yet?

Can you please do this same test with Bambu Labs harden nozzles. But maybe do just carbon fiber and white filament as a test subjects. I can donate 4) complete unused .04 mm P1P nozzles as I use 06 nozzles on my micro farm.

I didn't do my research on glow in the dark material. This GITD project I am almost done with has destroyed the nozzle AND eaten it's way through the brass collar and into the plastic housing of my elegoo filament runout sensor. It's wild

It looks like the Chinese ones were done out with a lathe but the lathe was off center

how to make this pattern in a cheap nozzle....a shitty drill bit on a milling machine. I love you dude, but you are too precise sometimes lol!

About the chinese nozzle.
when you drill to fast with a 3 flute ore 4 flute drill(same for the countersinker 3 flute ore 2 flute) the outcome will look like a wankle engine

I’m really interested in a video testing the possibility of improving the print quality using a smaller nozzle.
Cool video! I always learn a lot from you. ❤

im curious of the BTT mixing hotend , would be awesome if you can do lots of experiments of them... not sure how good they are but would be nice to know deeper of them...

to test your hypothesis on the superiority of the E3D V6 nozzle you could machine the champers manually and compare

Thank you for taking the time to do this science we don't have to.

Imagine Ironing the last layer of carbon fiber print by mistake 😅
Also I feel like 60 degree just better for retraction than 90 degree internal, that's why less stringing

You should have printed filament, so you can reuse it (like zack freedman did in his cursed filament test 😉👍)

Can you test the RevoSix please? After ~1200 hours of printing non-abrasive filament I got some serious degradation of flow rate consistency.
