I use that camera for vlogging it is not that bad

artisticaly it could be a great camera for something like a found footage movie it has that vibe but let's be hones you could make a better camera yourself with a 10$ sony phone sensor and a cheap motherboard

I got this camera as a gift and the videos will not upload to my PC or my new Chromeboom that i got today. I can't figure out the issue. I would love some advice from someone on the issue. the decives can read the camera but none of the files will play or downloand.

About half year ago I've bought Fuji mirrorless camera and XC 16-50 lens... OMG! How much did I've missed shooting all those years using my old Canon SX200! It's focal length starts from 28mm! So I've never shoot in real wide angle range before actually. So personally the camera main specs and it's quality really matters!
I've recorded my kind dogs with that old Canon: no real quality... Actually in that time the mirrorless cameras just did started and the best camera would be a DSLR camera.
The dogs did passed away. Now I can shoot my cats and fishes ) But walking with dogs and recording them is another reality! I have memorable videos which could have much more quality.

At least now I have it! And I can buy some medium quality Tamron 18-300 lens to cover the range of that old Canon even. But I will not. As I know the nuances now ))

It's just the matter of your subs, not the video quality of this 100$ camera.
If I'll shoot a good story with this camera, I have a chance that somebody will notice that the video isn't sharp. Especially if my channel will be linked to the quality of a media somehow. BECAUSE I have much much less subs! ))
Don't believe in comments, believe the facts. If a camera is bad then it's bad! Nothing will change it (without hardware replacements).

That's a wonderful example of "It's what's behind the camera that matters"! Sure, there still are crap cameras out there, but this proves that it's pretty hard to end up with one of 'em.

There were only a few short clips of you in the video of Mr. Beast. So it worked out well but had it been this one.. It would have shown through. That said the story does help. Great job.

The lack of proper lighting is what makes the video look bad. Not the price of the camera. You can get by with 100 dollar camera but you still need those lights.

I cannot see the next review video for this cam.

I mean... it does look like it was shot on a low end smartphone in good lighting conditions. And that dead pixel on your face is a bit of a tell, lol. I would have expected a comment on that. How did you fix the framerate? It looks like a powerpoint slideshow when you're filming in your backyard. Did you do some interpolation or whatever it's called to fake a higher framerate?
I will say, end result is better than I expected. And your point is valid. A 200 usd smartphone will be a lot better for 90% of people though. Or a used P&S for 25 bucks from eBay. And people might already have one of those options.

What are some good editing programs ( anyone can reply ) ?

it was too saturated, a bit of old school blue/green tinting, the tonal curve was a little aggressive, probably not great dynamic range, it was a bit fuzzy but what seemed like the biggest problem was the frame rate or lag. What was the frame rate? you rendered this video as 24fps but was there a mismatch? would it have run better in 30fps video.

I just bought this camera, I have been using my I phone and just figured I should have a camera but my money is tight so I got this one . I might come back and comment after I see if the new camera makes any difference on my channel. Thank you for this video 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

the cost of making one of these "scam 4k cam" in China is like under a dollar and people can get it with about 10 , but 100 bucks?? that's a better deal than selling drugs

It would have to be an exceptionally terrible camera to serve as a reason not to watch a video. I believe that if the content of the video is engaging, most viewers wouldn't exclaim, 'Oh my gosh, this video was shot in 1080p at 30fps on a five-year-old phone; I'm not going to watch this!' We tend to place significant importance on this so-called 'sense of quality,' but the truth is, we perceive it this way because we idealize the careers of other content creators. I'm not suggesting that there isn't a basic standard for video quality, as it does depend on the type of content being created. However, in general, what you have is likely to be sufficient.
