I do have to say, for apple-shaped bodies, I doubt this would work because a crop top makes us look very boxy. Even with something added underneath, it accentuates the tummy and boxy figure

I usually go for a skin-toned undershirt for when I don't want to expose the belly. It is far more comfortable than having a waistband dig into your skin or trying to keep a draft off your back.

Personally, as I lose weight, I like to show more of my stomach with crop tops, because I was beyond shamed for simply existing growing up. So, for me, it’s like a celebration of my life + achievements, but I really do appreciate content like this for days when I feel a bit insecure or during the fall/winter when it’s colder. PLUS, I LOVE content like this, because I WISH I had something like this to look up to when I was younger and was extremely restricted in what I was allowed to wear!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨✨✨💗💗💗 I was NEVER allowed to buy anything short or lower cut, because not only did I have no idea you could style these things in different ways, but my parents didn’t either (mainly my father).

Cropped tops paired with high rise are what’s becoming my staple as a short girl. The crop just fits my shorter torso much better and really seems the help lengthen the legs.

this helps me so much because all these years I could never wear a crop top because my mom doesn't approved it so now I can just buy a pair of high rise pants instead of the low rise pants I've been using and wear crop top!
