ОтветитьI was born with a genetic defect that affects the cilia in my body. Because the cilia cannot work properly, I’m forever getting respiratory infections plus pneumonia. In 2017, I had the flu, bronchitis and pneumonia all at the same time. It almost killed me even tho I had the flu shot and the pneumonia shot. I’ve also had 5 cases of Covid 19, RSV, stomach flu, and just about ever bug going around the United States. So be thankful if you have a strong immune system.

ОтветитьLecture is good but use the word shallow breathing while describing the symptoms of pneumonia SOB dyspanea and shallow breathing ( rapid respiratory rate more than normal)
ОтветитьI had pneumonia in 2019 and I couldn’t rlly breath properly and I was sick for a month so I didn’t go to school for a month which was relaxing but not cause I had pneumonia
ОтветитьI remember catching bacterial pneumonia before Xmas in 2017. I was only 26 at the time. Scariest moment ever!
First symptoms I had was lower back pain, I thought I’d been sitting awkwardly. It then went to having swollen glands in my throat and feeling like I had a flu. It then went to not being able to eat, feeling weak and it hurt to breathe and it’s when I started to cough blood that I drove to the hospital. It was there that they told me I had a serious case of pneumonia and a fast heart rate. I had to stay in hospital for a few days as my temperature was so high. I will never forget how scary it was, the not being able to breathe without pain, not being able to sleep, get my temperature down. It was only after a few days went by and having medication things started to improve. I left hospital on Xmas day, I’d lost a lot of weight and it took a lot out of me. It took time to build myself up again, at the time I was a normal, healthy young guy. And back then I never got the flu jab, ever since then I have and luckily up until now I’ve been ok. Really does open your eyes.
I went to a doctor surgery when I noticed swollen glands. He told me there was nothing wrong, and that night I ended up in hospital. So if you ever get these symptoms and just feel like you’re getting worse. Go with your instinct and to the hospital, you know your own body better than anyone.
