Why use R? | R for Digital Humanities (DH) | Lesson 01

In this video, we start our exploration of the programming language of R. This video series is designed for those who have no prior programming experience. It is prepared specifically with digital humanists in mind. The material we explore and how we explore it, will be with data specifically relevant to the digital humanities, i.e. letter collections, people, networks, and text-based data. I have another channel, Python Tutorials for Digital Humanities in which we do something similar with Python. I will occasionally reference how we do things in Python throughout this series.
