Jakojako schafft es immer wieder in ihrem sets unheimliche Dichte und tiefgründige Stimmung zu erzeugen. Die Stücke fließen derart sanft ineinander über, dass man es kaum wahrnimmt und doch ist jede Sequenz ultrapräsent. Ich bin ein Kind der 80er und 90er und durfte alle namhaften Djs, Djanes und liveacts dieser prägenden Zeit sehen. Alex Azari, Thomas P Heckmann, Aphex Twin, UR, air liquid, laurent garnier, oder Producer wie Steffen Britzke B-Zet, Cosmic Baby, Paul & Paul Sessions, LTJ Bukem... meine Liste wäre abendfüllend. Die neue Meisterin der Fächen jedoch heißt JakoJako. Danke für Deinen geilen Sound.

Ein so gutes Eurorack set auf so wenig Platz zu spielen muss man erstmal schaffen.

Let's be honest; there's a lot of crap in these Garage-sessions. But this was a good one. I've noticed her before.

I would love to see an overhead from the artist's perspective, showing what they are doing.

Not a good intro to JakoJako, I'll have to chase other work of hers because this definitely wouldn't bring me back.

All foreplay. I heard mundane safe textures I've heard before. It could have been a recording for all that was" performed". Yeah, sip your water, you've been working hard. When you play live give me something I cannot get from a recording. What a waste of half an hour.

That's actually interesting. There is no Kick and snare or heavy bass and still we can see the crowd dancing and jumping like they could hear it in their heads. I think we have a chance to learn something from this.
