For anyone who knows this wonderful show, all you have to say is "Veal Prince Orloff." Laughter will follow. Guaranteed.
ОтветитьI was thinking that was Henry Winkler from Happy Days.
ОтветитьLove all the actors but ted is one of thebest actors ever!!
Ответить119 North Weatherly - I did not know this. Now, for super fans only, please tell me if it was St, Pl, Ave etc. I must know! :)
ОтветитьSuch a young Fonzie❣️😊
ОтветитьThe only characters I love in this show are, of course, Mary and dear and delightful man, Murray.
ОтветитьTed is so funny...all the things we wish we could say! ha!
ОтветитьI didn't realize how obnoxious these people were. I guess to make Mary seem even nicer.
ОтветитьWhy would Mary invite loud-mouth showoff Rhoda to an important dinner? Dumb.
ОтветитьWhy was such an obnoxious person as Rhoda be Mary's good friend?
ОтветитьAs much as I enjoyed watching this show back in the day, I always disagreed with those who claimed MTM was the first show celebrating a woman on her own making it in the world. It's inaccurate. Marlo Thomas actually did it before her on "That Girl."
ОтветитьLou, the alcoholic----just kevtching about 'his, his, his' issues.....LoL...
ОтветитьMary throws the worst parties! haha
ОтветитьI'm party cursed too 😭
ОтветитьIt was Rhoda's idea to keep the party small, then she brings someone along. She should've canceled herself instead of putting the burden on Mary.
ОтветитьMary and Frasier were both "party cursed". Too funny.
ОтветитьI don’t understand the reason for the substitution of music in the last few seconds of the episode while Ted is telling his story and it segues into the credits. Ted sings just one line: “it came upon a midnight clear” - and that song is public domain. There’s no reason to substitute it with that generic music. Can you explain? Thanks.
ОтветитьI was just being born when this show was popular.... All I know is Ted Night ruled comedy master class
ОтветитьBetty White.... Sue Anne Nivens was the polar opposite of Rose Nylund.
And she was awesome as both!!!! What a treasure Betty White was.
I love the Mary Tyler Moore Show and Mary's apartment! In the beginning of the show Rhoda is on the phone and there's a door right behind her. Where does that door go to?
ОтветитьSometimes Ted drives me crazy.
ОтветитьTwo of the most iconic funny scenes in the series if not TV in general in the same episode...the writers were on point even by season 4
ОтветитьSeason 4 was the best. Starting with The Lars Affair, the season only got better.
ОтветитьI love this show!! and Mary's parties were always hilarious! I love the running gag:))))
ОтветитьRhoda brought The Fonz
ОтветитьI think Mary got her math wrong. If Lou took half of servings, then 2 people wouldn't get to eat (not 3)
ОтветитьTo be honest, this near disaster of a party was not Mary's fault. First, the Congresswoman invites herself over to dinner for the very next evening. (Typical charity grabbing politician). Sue Ann then cooks a dinner that will turn bad if not eaten right away without asking what time the guests are arriving. (I thought she was supposed to be an expert on throwing parties). Rhoda brings a guest even though she knew Mary did not have enough room. Lou decides to be a glutton and commandeers half of the dinner from the serving plate. (Okay, maybe Mary should have portioned out the servings). Ted then crashes the party. Not your fault this time, Mary, but at least things turned out wonderfully!
ОтветитьTotally dislike how U cut show with music BEfore creditS
😢
First TV appearance for Henry Winkler 1973
ОтветитьWtf is with that music???😂
ОтветитьMary you throw rotten parties lol
ОтветитьThe Minneapolis Six ... lmao
ОтветитьThis, to me, is one of the best written, and acted sitcoms…ever! I can’t remember the number of times I’ve referenced this show, or imitated Mary and Rhoda💖💖💖💖
ОтветитьI like this episode better than the Chuckles the Clown episode.
ОтветитьSeason 4 was the absolute high water mark of the show . This episode is one of the series best. The only scene that drags the episode down -- a bit -- is Ted's story about his childhood. The congresswoman Getty also played a congresswoman on "Maude" in a VERY funny episode wherein she drops dead.
ОтветитьWHY allow people sit through half an hour only to RUIN the show?
Don't upload if you're just going to ruin these timeless classics with cheap, tacky MIDI tunes!!!
You cut off the end. RUINED IT!
ОтветитьBeety White in the 'Homemaker' scene , very funny
ОтветитьAVOID!!!!!!!
There are a handful of channels that showcase MTM. I wish I could simply select by title but the signature crappiness of your versions require me to avoid them. Nothing like sitting through a half hour of a classic sitcom only to have the final lines of dialogue, the last big laugh and the final resolution of the episode lopped off and replaced with tacky muzak. Not content to simply exploit the work of these talented people, you have to damage it in the process. You turn brilliance into garbage.
