You're a great analyst Sir! you got the right team for Paris
ОтветитьThe US womens 200 metre is stacked. 1. Gabby Thomas, 2.Mckenzie Long, 3.Abbey Steiner or Brittany Brown
ОтветитьDo you still think Sha'carri will not make the 200m team, Anderson 🤔 I still have Sha'carri as the double sprint champion at the Olympics!!! Usa 🇺🇸
ОтветитьMcKenzie who??
ОтветитьWhy nobody talking bout Abby
ОтветитьPeople really been acting like Abby Steiner don't exist or something. She looked good in her 100 run today, she's got her speed back, I think she'll sneak into this 200 group. Nobody knows how she will truly run at the final which makes her dangerous.
ОтветитьNever count Sha’Carri out. Enough said.
ОтветитьYour commentary is great I have been following you the past couple of videos and it's spot on
ОтветитьGabby, shacarri and anyone else who steps up on the day are making this 200 team
ОтветитьLynna irby Jackson
ОтветитьShaccari coming off bronze at worlds I don't see her losing to Clark or Brown. The only 1 I could put above her is if Abby Steiner is back to her old self.
ОтветитьGabby, Sha'carri, Brown
ОтветитьFor me, the top 2 are definitely Gabby Thomas and McKenzie Long, but three is a real tossup. Initially, I was thinking Sha'Carri because she has the speed, but now I'm wondering. I'm inclined to think that it'll be either Abby Steiner or Jameesia Ford. In terms of style, they're polar opposites.
Steiner has a slightly herky-jerky style with very fast turnover and is all about traction. When she's healthy and on point, she connects to the track has that weird acceleration in the second half of the race. Jameesia Ford looks like she's floating on air. Ford has the 3rd best time this year among the competitors (4th best in the world) and she hasn't lost to anyone but McKenzie Long this year, which could mean that she doesn't lose to anyone but Long and Gabby now. My top four are 1) Gabby, 2) Mckenzie Long, 3) Jameesia Ford, and 4) Abby Steiner.
Your right this is a very close and competitive race to call. This women's 200m is actually one of the events I can't wait to see. My top three I have to make the 200m Olympic team is Gabby, ShaCarri and Abby. I love the work Mackenzie put in this year at the NCAA championships but it will be very difficult to maintain that level she was on going into the trials in my opinion. I haven't seen college athletes do this often going into an Olympic year. If anyone can it would definitely be her, but usually the youngsters have to wait in line before their chance to shine!
Ответить@Kevin Taylor is a nasty devil...where's the research that people who have not slept with women for a prolong period of time are less of a human? Are the men who regularly sleep with women not getting prostrate cancer and dying and leaving the women alive? Look at the swollen face of John Mahama, is he not sick too if you are foolish to allege that Koku Anyidoho is sick. Don't you know that John Mahama is sick and could kick the bucket sooner than later?
ОтветитьGabby ,Shacarri & Mckenzie
ОтветитьLong looks masculine isn't that an issue now, just saying
ОтветитьGabby will run 21.7 at us trials...once taps into top speed...
ОтветитьWait did u do the Mens 200m?...
ОтветитьIf Sydney decides to run the 200m she’s make the team
ОтветитьBeen a fan of yours.
Now I found you on X. 🫶🏾
Great content as always. ❤
Gabby
Brown
???
He probably is talking about the future he already has shericka Natasha and slowly and the twins
ОтветитьI’m not a huge fan of promoting shiny new collegiate toys on championship years. ShaCarri, Julien, Jasmine, etc., are a bit exceptional, but even the first two only did so well their first year, while Jasmine has an easy ride with no competition in PR…no trial issues! So, I don’t want McKenzie Long anywhere near Paris…there are a million other people who haven’t run a long season and can easily fill her shoes. I do wanna see McKenzie Long next year and the following, because she has something I really like. That is, McKenzie is a bit like your ShaCarri, Jeter, Tori Bowie, etc., in that no matter her start, she is always in the race and coming back atcha; that is a very special talent!
Gabby is gonna be ready, obviously. Brittany Brown is hard to predict…I think she could get in there, as she has been looking so darn good the past two years, and she runs with confidence! I also think ShaCarri is gonna be in there…ShaCarri has shown she can clearly go much faster than her PB. Also, remember ShaCarri in the 200M is like Shelly Anne in that event…ShaCarri gets way out to 150M, then everyone needs to catch her. She will have burned out most of the other runners due to their panic trying to catch her. I have those three…with Abby and Jenna just missing the team.
People sleeping on Brittany Brown
ОтветитьI really hate the college kids are able to compete at nationals. Not only is it not fair, it lessens the professionalism of the sport. College athletes are typically in better shape now than the pros so they will likely take a pros spot in some events but usually crash out by the major championships.
The rules need to change that only pros can compete at nationals
Very impressed with McKenzie and looking forward to see her in the trials.
ОтветитьEveryone who had questions about Gabby after the L.A. Grand Prix didn’t watch her interview after her win in NYC. She said she always runs that meet in the middle of a heavy training block, why explains why she always performs terribly there.
ОтветитьJust glad im not seeing Jenna prandini's name in the mix. When is she gonna retire or start running 400m?
ОтветитьSo true... really competitive and the males as well! Omg!! USA trials will be lit!! Gabby definitely!!
ОтветитьGabby will win. The End.
Ответитьmc kenzie, gabby, abby,shacarri
ОтветитьI'm going to go with Gabby McKenzie and Kayla white
ОтветитьThe only person guaranteed a 200m spot is Gabby. After her it is an open race for 2nd and 3rd.
ОтветитьPeople talk about the women's 200m sprinters not doing well this year, but it's only really because we've been spoiled for the past few seasons with loads of amazing times. I remember in the 2015 WC finals when Daphne Schippers beat Elaine Thompson and they ran 21.63 and 21.65, the 3rd and 5th fastest ever at the time, I was amazed to see sub 22's, it hardly ever used to happen. Now it's kind of expected that we'll see a couple of sub 22's in the NCAA's as well as many others throughout the season. Anyway, that aside, this 200m is wide open compared with the 100m, which is the opposite to the men. I'm going to go with Gabby, Sha'Carri and McKenzie. Any of the women mentioned in the video have a decent shot, but Gabby has proven her form, McKenzie the same, plus she has added incentive to do well this year and Sha'Carri has proven she can rise to the occasion and has run fast enough in the 100m to suggest she could run a fast 200m. If any of those three don't make it, Jamessia and Abby be the ones I would expect to do well if they are healthy. Whatever happens it should be a great compettion.
Ответить21.6, maybe 21.5
ОтветитьHope long doesn't make the team. Hate her running style
Ответить👍🏿, Tamara Clark is a sleeper
ОтветитьRichardson winning 100 and 200 trials and in paris
ОтветитьTired to tell all these years trials in eugene times are always fake
Ответить1.) Thomas
2.) Long
3.) Richardson (assuming she doesn’t scratch)
Wild Card: Clark if she feeling confident that day which seems to be rare for her. Otherwise Steiner.
Gabby looks the best she has since 2021. I see her actually being the favorite for gold in the 200
ОтветитьSha'Carri not top 3 🤨
ОтветитьGotta go with Gabby, Sha’Carri, and McKenzie in no particular order.
Edit: Winner takes it in 21.89
is gabby runs the 400 that's before the 200, 3 400 on her legs? Brittany brown making the team 100000%
ОтветитьYou are excellent at your craft Sir.. Your information, stats, and consistency is unmatched. Now to answer, Gabby is winning at nationals hands down and might give Sherika a run for her money come OlY finals if she is not in form. Behind her I have to give it to Abby!!! C’mon now.. third is tight for McKenzie and Anavia Battle because she’s had a good season so far. I don’t have Shacari on the 200 team, they gona catch her in the last 20m and I think there are a few girls who are running a lot more consistently this season
ОтветитьWomen’s 200m prediction to represent the US: Gabby, Abby, Clark. Alternates: Sha’Carri and Brown.
ОтветитьGreat video per usual! I was nervous about Gabby before this video because of Gabby’s LA Grand Prix performance as she almost never loses a 200m race unless it’s to Shericka, but you’re right I now think she’ll be okay after watching your video. I think is Sha’carri has a good start she could make the team. Would not be surprised to see Abby or Brittany make the team.
ОтветитьWomen’s 100M to represent the US: Sha’Carri, Hobbs Melissa. Alternates are: Tamari & Terry
