I remember waiting SO long for this game to come out. When it did, I got it the day. Cost me £40. I completed it, 100% in about 2 days. Then traded it in for £35. Wish I kept it but it was SO SO short (& easy).

Great video. I really love this game and would honestly call it my favorite solo Wario adventure. It’s a shame that it feels like Nintendo ignores a lot of their games that came out on GameCube but this should totally be rereleased.

This game is great just because treasure was allowed to go for real surreal presentation and total visual nonsense

This really deserves to be on the Switch and gets the remaster treatment here. I really don't know why Nintendo stopped making Wario games like this, instead of turning those party titles they're constantly making for the guy.

I would argue Treasure's most famous game is Gunstar Heroes, but my favorite is Dynamite Headdy

I loved wario world I played the crap out of it back when I had a gamecube it was short but sooooooo fun.

Me and a friend actually played this game from start to finish, pretty much 100% the game, and had one hell of a time with the mini stages. We'd pass the controller every time one of us failed, and there was a LOT of fails, namely falling off the stage and hearing Wario screeching every time it happened. My friend for awhile actually had the Wario screech as a text message alert. I honestly want another Wario Land related game and not the Wario Ware nonsense that has been done to death, it's way overdue for one.

Wario is gross

I never played it due to its marketing. I didn't know what kind of game it was, it seemed like disconnected stages, with a focus on getting lots of gold.
Didn't look interesting, but you have sold me! Now i wish it was 2006 again, and i could still find it used at game shops for less than the cost of rent...

Oh wow I've been a Nintendo nerd my whole life and didn't even know about this one.

A friend let me play Wario World, and then borrow it for a while in the mid 2000s. When I eventually decided I wanted to own a copy, I kept an eye out for it for the longest time, but couldnt find a copy. Finally I discovered a disc-only copy in the final months of my local Gamestop carrying Gamecube titles and got it for $10. My only regret was not getting it complete. Game has gotten expensive since then...

I have a vivid memory of renting this and playing it for hours, but I remember absolutely NONE of this footage, lol. Crazy.

I swear I beat this game at least once back in the day… but I don’t remember half of those worlds and bosses. 😢 I’d love a remaster on Switch to be able to play through it again and see how much I truly remember.

Wario World is in my top 5 Gamecube games. I love it so much I got a Japanese game cube to fight the special final boss from the Japanese version. It was well worth it. I also think this is Charles Martinet’s best performance.

I remember renting this at the library and playing it at my Grandma's, I didn't know what I was doing then..

I loved this game growing up. It’s a very wild 3D platformer that seems to have some small issues, but is overall a solid time. Really wish they would give Wario in 3D another chance, as the odd charm is through the roof with all the weird and wild creatures you fight.

Also, gotta say, I thought it was weird that Wario was in 3D before Kirby lmao (3D Kirby game did get canned for GCN)

One of my favorite games from the gamecube era, hands down. Game had such a distinct atmosphere.

Did you know if you bought the original copy they have instruction book and then they show wario organ in this instruction book this is real I'm not lying is real

I remember this purely because Treasure worked on it and Treasure really does good stuff. Gunstar Heroes being one of my favorite games from them. There's a Wario game on the DS that looks fantastic. You should give it a play.

This was one of my favorite games to replay as a kid. I loved the fact that Wario had a 3D platformer and I always wished he’d get another.
