Didn’t realise Karl played with strings up side down. Same as me!!!! I’m humbled.

I saw Karl & World Party perform in the late 80s in a club and it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. I deeply regret not making an effort to seeing him perform again. He was such a gifted musician and song writer.

Everything he did was gold ..both lyrically and musically...true Artist ...gone too soon ...but what a legacy he left ❤

Such a wonderful talent. So sad to hear of his passing. Was fortunate to see them double bill (IMHO) with 10,000 Maniacs. R.I.P. Karl

Soundtrack of my life

Karl's music always reminded me of spring. Was always a part of my life since I was a teenager in 1987. And yes, part of spring back in those days too. He left us in spring 2024, and his music still uplifts me the same way it did back in 1987. In our memories of Karl let's not forget Big Blue Ball. The song of the same name reminds me of Spring 1987 again.

Rest in peace my friend, I am honoured to have walked with you, at least in music.

Sad to say I only recently discovered Karl’s music in its entirety.
Loved ‘Ship of fools’ but that was about it. Saw news of his death and then really investigated his music further.
You were a genius Karl. A deep thinker and able to articulate that through your beautiful music.
He is a huge loss. RIP.🙏
