Does Mini 3 and Mini 3 Pro have same battery?

So pretty much the differences are, double the iso for the pro model, no sensors for obstacle avoiding for the regular model, no vertical panoramic pictures for the regular model, no Timelapse’s for the regular model but surprisingly longer fly time, thank you ❤

It's a difficult decision, to be sure. Does anyone know if DJI's claimed max ISO is trustworthy? In still photography, I find some of the manufacturers to issue....er.....dubious ISO claims.

I use a mini-2 and quickshots is an amazing feature. As I understood, mini-3 has no quickshot. Is that correct?

My 3 lost connection to the controller and never came back to Home point. I could not find it on my find my drone.

Year hit the water & there fried. No they will become a drone when they become water proof

Hi Shawn, I really like your videos & they inspired me to buy a Mini 3 (yesterday!). I ordered the DJI RC controller & updated the controller & battery firmware (version 1.03.06). Trying to figure out how to control (lower) the horizontal speed. I found the tab for "Control", "Gain & Tuning" but instead of "Max Horizontal Velocity" it shows "Max Angular Velocity". Are they the same thing?

Great job on the video, but I wouldn't get a DJI for one reason...GeoFencing. I don't need someone locking down my drone because they think they know better than me. It should be up to the user to use the available data and make a smart decision.

I fly the Mini 3 Pro. The collision avoidance and the 48 megapixel camera on the Mini 3 Pro made the decision very easy.

The mini 3 non pro now shoots at 48 megapixels. Shoots video at 4k 60. Basically it has every feature the pro has minus tracking. Because its always been the exact same camera with software locked features

first I was looking for mini 2, but the features and price on mini 3 pro were just too good and I dont see why would I get the "basic" 3 as a first time pilot with the price difference being minimal at that level of expense...much less if I was upgrading (cant imagine they sell very well)

What’s the point of talking about the different iso and bit rate and then not showing us the back to back footage? We really don’t need to see a 4K shot of your hands.

I can also tell from this video, sir. You've been doing too much drone flying. From an easy chair. You need to lose some weight. You have fat hands. You're going to have a heart attack. Make a radical change in your diet. It's not hard to do. And you will be able to fly drones much longer. You will extend your stay on the planet. You will remain more ambulatory.

As always guys like you. That check out in your early 50s. Even your mid 40s. I've lost numerous friends, like you. They all had fat hands. And girls felt them, ham-handed. Between their legs. And they don't like guys with fat hands. That's why you have no woman. That's why you have drones. Some you merely inflate. And add batteries. And they fly around your bedroom. With their mouths hanging open. So make sure you get more than one. You will cause them to burst. When you get on top. Because you have fat hands. And your inflatable girlfriend won't like that.

Next time. I might recommend filling up your inflatable girlfriend. With hydrogen. And setting her ablaze. In your bedroom. You wanted a hot date? You can make one just like that. And you will have her floating in air. In the cloud's. Without an ignition source nearby. Unless you like blowing up clouds? As many do. Up their asses. In ever decreasing. Concentric, circles. Right up your own ass hole. POOF!

And so it sounds like the Mini 3. Is really just a, Mini 2. Circuit board. With a new case. As even the camera settings aren't the same. So it's not really a 3 but a 2 in 3's, clothing. Is, what this, Mini--pseudo-3 is all about. The fact that it cannot do 4K at 60 FPS. Is, just a deal killer for me. I love fluidic looking, SloMo. Not jerky. I only eat, jerky. I don't watch, jerky. No one should.

And so I will also assume it cannot do,, 120 FPS even at 1080? And because it does not have that Pro designation and moniker to it. So, it's not. It's just a point and shoot disappointment. For some, Blah B Role and Rolls. Hot cinnamon drizzled with icing if you got them? But I digest.

SloMo does not go good with coffee. That we know.

July 2023. Thanks for the vid. Actually I am just upgrading from the Spark. It works well for me. However, the "Mini" flight time is a big improvement. I was headed for a Mini2, after talking to an owner but with the advantage of looking up on the Mini3 being the deciding factor. The obstacle avoidance really hasn't proved useful for my purposes.

I am a photographer, not a videographer. I found 3 bracket is enough for even high drive situations. So mini 3 it is for me

Is it okay if I rest my drone with the propellers in like the thumbnail?

6 months later and now a dji mini 3 is $610. always wait before you buy.

is the 48 Mega Pixel real or just a marketing gimmick bounced up by the software ? Since the have the same sensor ! does the mini 3 do 360 Panoramas ?

6400 instead of 3200 ISO limit does NOT mean double the ISO RANGE(!) See, the Range is defined by the number of stops covered. Starting with both at ISO 100, 3200 means having 6 Stops Range. 6400 adds just one more stop. You basically only win 1/6 of range. Also, smaller resolution (12MP) sensor means bigger pixels, meaning less noise. I would dare to claim you can get the mini 3 to capture the same level of detail at least, when you push 3200 ISO footage to 6400 in post.

Just purchased Pro 3 to add to my existing fleet of Zoom 2, Mini 2 & Phantom. DJI takes my money everytime :)

In my opinion if you really want to save on money then go with Mini 2 not Mini 3, there is really no significant difference between the two. Mini 3 PRO is next level though.

Great comparison! On the DJI website it says the Mini 3 can take 48MP photos, is that true or is it 12MP like you mentioned in this video?
