6 years later I need help I completed madhouse and only got infinite ammo not the x ray vision goggles

I glitched Mia and my last try I just used the hatchet and she went down fast

Well, for me, Madhouse difficulty are available when i played the game for the first time. Why?

The four items that have been carrying me through madhouse are the circular saw, x-ray glasses, the art of defense and the essence of defense. Those are what's been dragging me through this.

Madhouse is fun

Normal mode was just that scary really but made house actually made it a horror game

Its insane this game is actually that old. Great game game, just platinumed it.

I cant get past mia.....ik 😪 its a skill issue

Man I just beat this difficulty like yesterday, though I didn’t imagine that I’d finish it in like 7hrs.

Before I tried Madhouse I got all the “special” items you receive for completing the game under certain circumstances to totally help out. They totally helped out a ton.

The game definitely starts off harder and gets progressively easier tho as you learn how much the game’s changed.

The funny thing is, I had a lot harder time with the axe fight. It took me about 4 tries but the chainsaw fight only took me 2 tries.

I just beat the game 3 time just to unlock some things like a chain saw and use them on game plus just to get infinite ammo

Just started my Madhouse playthrough today, at first was real frustrated by how much quicker you can die and how much more lethal enemies/bosses are till I realized it's actually quite a bit more fair than most highest difficulty games. As enemies don't just become bullet sponges, instead yes the enemies are more formidable and resources/saving are less abundant but the game gives you everything you need to defeat them. Including unlockables from other playthroughs (circular saw, x-ray glasses, the Albert pistol) which really does balance things out quite nicely. Just defeated Jack in the basement (wasn't easy lol), and about to head in to the old house heh-heh let's see how this goes.

Madhouse was pretty fun until I got to the Marguerite boss fight , I fought her for a week daily doing nothing else but trying to beat her and just could not, even in my latter runs when I wasn't even taking damage from her early on but I would just run out of ammo even thou I was using e handed rounds, and the 2 shot shotgun amd Albert were my guns plus the flame thrower prolly used 400 or 500 flames (or 4 or 5 cans since each can holds 100) 15-20 enhanced rounds and 6 to 8 shotgun. Shots and nothing , nope even when I predicted where she would lay her eggs a ton of times eventually she would just disappear it felt liked and there was nothing I could do and of course the bugs attack me same time and she does and stun lock me killing me.. still haven't beaten it to this day

I really like the idea of Madhouse, but it's too frustating for me. I had to do the chainsaw battle again because I died in the Mia video -.-" then I deleted my saves LoL

Ok good, I was hoping that Madhouse would provide that old school challenge. About to play thru the Not a Hero content. I'll comeback to this when I'm done.

Did it like on may 2022 I was stuck on final jack fight and I finally did it by getting the hand saw and the glasses by speed running normal with only 13 seconds left before I would have to do it again once I got the stuff I was stuck on jack and then the Eveline cave area

In my opinion, Madhouse difficulty is a beautiful difficulty because it keeps you on your toes in every corner you go to on the game. I always use the separating agents to get enhanced ammo to get Jack easily away from me. The secrets of defense can be good but I tend to forget I have it most of the time and before I knew it every time I block very little damage is only done. It gets harder and challenging when you progress through Madhouse but it rewards you handsomely for completing the difficulty trust me. I can never get the Resident Evil Village of Shadows difficulty finished I'm on the very last boss fight with Miranda. If anyone sees this and completed the Village of Shadows difficulty, can anyone help?

i clawed my way through madhouse for the infinite ammo just so i can redo the game and bully them all with infinite mag ammo :'^)

Legit though, Chainsaw Mia was probably the hardest boss in the entire run. If you can beat her, you got Madhouse.

You could have used the doors against Mia. Run through the 3 doors and get easy headshots off while she is getting through the door

Man madhouse is sure very cool but oh my it's brutal and can be very frustrating at times. I suggest you to complete the speedrun under 4 hours first in order to attain the circular saw. It can be of great help 🤯

Madhouse is just annoying. Well, actually it is just me that is horrible, but still.

Actually Albert is the best weapon in madhouse

I can't believe I beat madhouse level my heart raced through the whole game. I beat it 4 times on normal level before doing madhouse I still think the crawling moulders are the worst! Even worse than the boss fights lol, Marquette and her bugs were terrible in madhouse. Unlimited ammo tho so now it'll be easier the second time on madhouse. I don't know how people beat especially this level in 3-4 hours but props to you!

Except for the spongy bosses, madhouse is the best way to play this game.

You had to do that Mia fight 8 times? Well it took US like 90 times... such a difficulty no one could beat

Am I the only person who tried playing RE7 and found themselves hating the game, to the point of having no desire to finish it?

I love to collect Platinum trophies to make my Ps trophy cabinet more decorated...i was trying to get re7 platinum the only trophy was left madhouse play through since i am dark soul nerd sooo playing at madhouse was not soo much difficult for me i played with strategy the only part i got stuck was with Marguerite boss fight a part from that i finished the game in 4 hours ...(loved every single min of it).

I finished off Jack on Madhouse and that was beyond the cheapest fight ever as his second bout he has a hit you can’t dodge so you have to take damage and thus can cheese you off. I beat him with a glitch with the neuro grenade round as it slowed his sequence of throwing his bomb you can’t dodge but I could. He maybe landed 3 hits that I blocked out of 12-15 hits I got on him. I’m at heisenberg on village of shadow and it’s so cheesy just like the jack fight that I’ve basically given up until I have the patience to beat a cheesey boss as it’s not skill that beats him but luck has a lot to do with it too.

I started re7 on madhouse when i downloaded it and finished it in 11h
