You don’t buy monero to hold to your death. Bitcoin is better because it’s inherently deflationary so it gains value over time. While with monero, the purpose is to use it. I’d argue that you should use some other crypto like tether or something. Keep your cash there. Then do nuclear swaps to xmr when you want to make a purchase. Assuming it’s a big purchase.
