It is really a shame that the "light" path does not upgrade the armor to a 17ac Selunite half-plate or something (Looking like that Nightsong armor would be awesome!) with a similar radiant themed playstyle that compliments the spear.

There's even a easier way to beat the self-same trial. You still send one companion into the room to spawn a copy of yourself. But once you've activated the shrine, you lockpick the door and send your whole party in for a lovely 4V1 battle.

would be nice if u included and showed where to fine nightsong in A3 to collect the selune spear of night. i just entered baldurs gate and at 1st waypoint where the brothel is and dunno where in city to find her.

Can anyone tell me if I'm supposed to do the nightsong quest first or go to moonrise and talk to big bad guy over there?

From what I understand there is a relic that is the dudes weakness, and that relic is found in the nightsong place, but the game warns me if I enter events will change and some quest end. I thought I had to do nightsong first to get the relic then head over to moonrise and talk to the guy.

So if I already summon the guide to take me to the moon tower without going to the inn can I still do the ambush to get the moon lantern??

as soon as i found out that nightsong was aasimar i decided to free her. i love the aasimar race in DnD

At the Faith Leap Trial, if you look at the floor in front of the blood alter it gives you the map for that path you can take. So if you can't see the path just look at the floor.

I went with the Light path for her because I think it made more sense given how unsure Shadowheart was right from the start
Then I respec'd her to Paladin + Light domain Cleric

Strange for me, i choose to sacrifice shadowheart and damned me after i rushed to act3. F

What is the correct order the moon tower quests? Or this Shar quest?

Funny thing about the ambush for the first gem:
you can not only talk to the ambushers, but with high enough persuasion you can tell the commander to kill everyone else and himself

If you fail the invisible path trial three times, it strikes you dead.

Hey can anyone confirm this for me? In the self same trial if you use Command: Drop you can actually get duplicates of your party's weapons. I made Astarion's double drop a life steal short sword and picked it up before the fight ended. Now its in my inventory. I havent heard anyone else talk about this so i was wondering if it was a one off glitch or if its a known thing.

I guess i failed checks coz when i tried to help shadowheart step into the light and save nightsong she turned on me and i had to kill her.

I personally went with the "Free Nightsong" choice here, and to really fit in of Shadowheart's decision to step out into the light, I respecced her into the Light Domain. Which is even more fitting when you consider the icon for Trickery Domain is literally an upside down, blood-covered version of the Light Domain's icon

Late act 2 is not "Early" by any stretch of the imagination.

I think the use of "Early" here is a bit of a stretch boys, lol...

You can convince the devil to kill himself if your persuasion is high enough instead of fighting him

Counter spell at the final fight against the necro stops him raising dead and makes the fight super easy

.....if you kill her you lose youre healer, withers goes on a vacation making the end of part 2 difficult and the shadow curse remains.

I'm currently abusing darkness with two Warlocks, a Sorlock, and shadowheart. These items would break the game for me since Shadow is the only one without devil sight but I'm doing a "good" playthrough. Absolute pain.

If you start that doppelganger trial (as in, when you spill blood with the dagger) with your party unarmed and unarmoed, the clones inside will also be unarmed and unarmored. The check only applies during that moment of starting the trial though.. you can initiate, re-equip everything, and then proceed to wipe the floor with your unarmed+underweared clones.

If you kill your lovers mirror in the self same room you get a purple ring that gives you a free crit every long rest. You can get 2 free crits if you take the illithid power too

wish this was split by act and chronology to avoid spoilers. "early" means nothing in this game.

Where do you find Nightsong in Act 3? She is not in my camp

I cant seem to find nightsong in the City….
Where is she located? She just stays at my camp Right Now with no new dialog options

Maaaaaaaaan, the dark path has so much cooler stuff but ive been playing a good guy for the most part this playthrough. Must stay strong, must be good, cant become like Vergil and only seek more power. For the good of the realm I know which path i must take. But next playthrough....Who's to say?

Lol my dome was gone only 20 min into act 2. The dude summon 5 wing demon and killed my cleric chick. So i had to kill all the civilians and recuit the twin blade lady as my companion.

How is this early? 20 hrs in I'm still at goblin's
