You are hilarious, accidentally found your channel looking for videos of modding cheap mics (planning on doing that very soon :] ) and I was super positively surprised
ОтветитьNice job on this one. Bam! You gone and done it up good!! Thanks👉🏼😎
Ответитьsir, im just looking to trash talk people in video game while i beat them. im sick and tired of cheap mics and i dont need an expansive mic for this
nice video
Duh... the screw works in reverse - you screw it out to secure it and screw it in to release or loosen it. The metal plates are simply to give it ballast and make it heavier. Hmmm ... Self adhesive tape ... In my experience, all adhesive tape is essentially self-adhesive. The sexual innuendoes converts you into a teenager. I bet your mom was pretty mad you scorched her table with your soldering iron. Any real technician has a proper silicone solder station work pad. You should have been able to achieve the same result by just changing the capsule. Um ...cheesy ... just saying. Good luck. JT
ОтветитьThat's a really cool looking body. I wish companies that made shit cheap mics like this would just sell the bodies when they're interesting looking.
ОтветитьOn AliExpress I have found some obviously fake SM7B options. Could you do something similar here with SM57/58 that you did here? Not exactly budget, but I'm curious how close it would be to an SM7B.
ОтветитьPlease can I also upgrade my task star Microphone capsule into a high quality capsule like small diaphragm exchange to a large diaphragm
ОтветитьI have a Neewer mic I got at one of those stores that resells returned amazon products for $5. I am planning on modding mine and would love to see you have a go at trying to make one usable.
Ответитьi bought one of those stick boards, absolute junk. didnt even work for a second
ОтветитьIs there any way to connect that phantom power board to USB?
ОтветитьI used the same circuitry and components as you, but the mic is small and the noise is loud. Why?
ОтветитьTLDR: That's what she said.
ОтветитьSuper sweet! Looks like a great first project for a mic builder!
ОтветитьVery solid, cool, usable, unique, sub-$30 mic!! Impressive effort, too-- there were at least 2 or 3 "that's what she said's" that you sacrificed for the pacing of this tutorial... You're always willing to let it slide in order to please us and get us off sooner 👍
ОтветитьThat's what she said lmao 🤣
ОтветитьDefinitely sounds a lot better. If we ever get to meet in person, you’re going have to walk me through doing something like this. it looks like fun!
ОтветитьI really enjoy these mic mod videos. I'd be really curious to hear a BM800-type mic with the mic-parts capsule. I think the mic-parts guy recommends the Sterling one for that mod as having a decent body and circuit and a pretty bad capsule that would give the maximum benefit for a capsule swap.
ОтветитьWow, that sounds pretty great after the mod. At least totally useable. Nice work!
